Good morning Linda!  Happy Wednesday.

So far today I've had a protein bar... I just love this brand... 190 calories, 20 grams of protein and 16 carbs.  I'm working on getting in more protein.

I hope everyone has a great day.

Hi Shelia,

The company is called "Eat Good Look Great." www.eatgoodlookgreat.com
Walgreens has them but I bought a box much cheaper at Sam's Club.  My favorite flavor is the peanut butter chocolate but they have a double chocolate and a s'mores flavor too and those are also good.

What does it mean to have a fill when you have the band?  I'm ignorant on banding.

Hi Laura,

A "fill" is when the doctor adjusts the tightness (restriction) of your band by inserting saline into a port on your abdomen.  The saline then travels up a tube that is attached to your lap band.  He/she can adjust the tightness in this manner, and hopefully control the appetite!

I know there are probably better technical explanation than this, and I'm still fairly new to the band.  This is just putting it in my words.

Hope that makes sense.

Vicky

Good Morning Miss Linda and OFF Friends.....   Today I will be traveling so food may be an issue.  taking my Mom to my sister's.  She will stay about a month to help out.  Sister is out of the hospital now.  She has an infection in the lining between the skull and brain... Quite a scare for us.  Thought it was a stroke.  Now she just needs to take it easy and recuperate.

L:  not sure...  on the road

Both Mom and my sister are healthy eaters so we should do fine.
