So sorry you are in pain ... I sure know all about that.  My knee has hurt so much the past two nights I have had to take a second vicodin to get to sleep. And then my IBS has kicked up too. I think the weather change affects us fibro folks more than others, Connie. Take care of yourself.  How is Nic doing, by the way?

Hi Eileen....I feel for you with that knee pain. When your knees hurt everything hurts!!

Yes, this is the weather that flares my fibro the most. I hate this time of year because of that. I love the fall otherwise...pretty leaves....and all.

Nic is in chemo this week. What a trooper he is!! He doing okay but sure wishes this was all over. He is so tired of doctors and hospitals. I guess I can't blame him for that!! He is my hero!!!

I used to have IBS really bad. It hasn't acted up for a long, long time. That is miserable too!!!

I hope you are feeling better and pain free really soon!!

Hello my Off family,

I thought I'd say hello and write a quick note.  things are very hectic here...what else is new???
My mom has been here since Saturday and I have had the girls alot, Dh has been working at our daughters house. Daughter & SIL meet at the lawyers today to go over the paperwork.

I am really struggling right now to get back on track and getting very down about it.  I see my Nut next Monday and she will not be happy as I have not managed to accomplish one thing on my plan she set up for me at the last visit. Looks like the scale has crept up this month too.. Yesterday I was 243, up 3 pounds since last month.   I know what I need to do just can't seem to get it in gear and do it.

Monday my daughter was here and asked what can we do to help you get back on track? So I know my family has noticed too.  I seem to have forgotten how to eat healthy and appropriately.

Hugs to all, Paulette

hello ! today i feel like a mack truck ran over me -and backed up to do it again! i pray that i am not getting the flu --everything that can aches..and some things that shouldn't! i stayed home and went back to bed for 4 hours of interrupted sleep....so now i'll have to work over to make the time up....

i got very very upset last nite- not sure if i am more mad at self or michael's bird ruby...we were at the dinner table and heard a "noise" -ruby walked down from her stand and across the stereo to my chair to come to the kitchen..ok- no biggie, she doe sit all of the time!  til i looked later and saw that the noise had been my coffee cup which was now upside down in my chair with coffee spilled everywhere-all over the yarn ( two diff skeins) and project that i am making for christmas for one of the grands!  i will have to wa**** after i get done knitting- no way to wa**** before hand...and the chair and pillow are covered with coffee-good thing about drinking it black it doesn't stain up like cream and sugar! the bag that my other project was in got wet but not the project ( the hat i have frogged twice that is for this weekends' birthday girl). i don't normally leave my cup somewhere if i am not right there- i learned years ago about that when i spilled on a cross stitch project..that and i can never find the cup if it isn't right by the pot on the counter!  so i guess i need to be mad at me but it was so easy last nite to be mad at the bird....michael also spills things and so nothing is sacred around here- or he write so on it--if it is important i have learned to put it up--why i didn't have sense to lock away the knitting i'll never know--one would think in a house of only two ppl that it should be safe!!!!

so- he went to therapy today and is now out gathering bricks from an abandoned schoolhouse- he is doing a "project" down off the basement slider....it's keeping him busy....

talked to the bird vet today and we are now watching to be sure that chico doesn't regress since one of the meds (antibiotic) is done- that happened last time he went off it...

i was freezing this morning-brought an afghan in to put on the bed on top of all of the covers...dunno why so cold....again- hope i am not coming down with the flu!

i am having issues with my cpap too- and realized last nite/this morning that my chin strap must need to be tightened cuz my mouth is still coming open..that will cause trouble ....it's horrible to wear the darned thing and still be tired when you wake up--i can understand , debbie g!!!!

not really sure what i am up to for the rest of today...need to get some extra iron in and protein as tomorrow is plasma if i feel ok...

think i will go knit- between an afghan on my lap and roxie ...at least my lap will be warm!!!!

hugs and prayers.......

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Ok, I have to make this quick cause I have been on OFF for close to an hour. Boss is off to a meeting, but I got about half the work  done just yesterday that I am behind from vacation.. Ready for this?? When I came into work yesterday ( first day back) and turned on computer boss says.
" I have to talk to you about something " I thought Oh crap NOW what have I done. She said "I don't want you to read it in an E-mail like I told every one else. I put in my resignation ,my last day will be Nov.24th". She is going to work for Methodist Hospital in Admin.  I teared up but I am very happy for her, she will like that job. So maybe that is why she has been so b*tchey lately. BUT, I will have to keep the ship  afloat until they find a new nurse, and then train her.. yuck. Chris and I started together, learned together and know what we are doing. What a bummer. I sure don't see myself moving to a new office now, it will be much easier to train a new nurse in the same office then from down the hall. We shall see. Some one came in the office yesterday and saw all my stuff down, her mouth dropped open and she said "what is this all about, your not leaving too are you?" I stood there for a minute and just said I'm just doing some house cleaning, Chris was right here and didn;t say a word, so we shall see.. I need to run.. Blessings
