Hi, It's Wednesday, What's New?

Good Morning Eileen and OFF'dom!

It's hump day!  In a week from today we should know who our new president is and the ADS will be OVER - thank the Lord!  I don't know about  you all, but I am getting tired of running for my phone only to hear a canned message telling me about this or that.  GRRR!  I hear Britain has only a month campaign and only about issues, not personal attacks.  Sounds like something WE should try here!

I must be getting more used to the c-pap thing again, I slapped it on last night, fell asleep and don't think I moved if the indentations on the left side of my face mean anything!
I can only wish I felt more rested all day, but I suppose after so many years of not sleeping well this is still an adjustment. The biggest problem I am having is waking up with the horribly dry glued together mouth.  I'm not mouth breathing, I think the pressure must rise during the night and I get more air in the mouth that is drying me out so much.  Anyway no fun!

After I got home from work last night I did the usual routine, let the dogs out, fed them, made a cuppa tea and turned on the space heaters!  It was chilly in the house. I refuse to turn my heat on yet.  I'm not so picky about the fireplace however and had a nice fire last night for a bit while watching TV.  I did get some beading done and then worked on this no sew quilted picture thing I am doing.  Got the background all done, now comes the hard part!  LOL

I still have the bathroom to finish but until I get a deadline placed upon me I suppose I will let it ride a while.  I keep thinking about trying to sell this place and getting a place more in the country or a condo.  I think I would want the place in the country more, but the condo sounds good too as no mowing, shoveling etc sounds pretty dog gone good to me right now!

Not much else to say right now, hope you all have a great day!

Deb:

The only way I can get to sleep is to knock myself out ... I have to take vicodin, neurontin and elavil at night, and then sometimes have to take a second vicodin if my knee is hurting a lot (like last night). At least I'm not waking up gagging at night like I was last year ... we solved that problem. I have mild sleep apnea but not enough to wear a cpap. I've been tested twice now, once pre-op and once last year, and the sleep doc says my apnea is from congenital abnormalities, not my weight (although my pre-op weight didn't help matters).

Good Morning Eileen and Family,
It's cool and windy here today too... chances of rain they tell us. I saw the Ortho doc yesterday, he put a shot of cortisone in my knee - yeeeeouch ! Tells me it'll take a couple of days to do it's job and should last up to 6 months, for the amount of arthritis they found . I sure hope he's right . He's not certain but I may have a new tear in the meniscus as well, so if it's still giving me grief in a week I'm supposed to let him know and we'll set up another arthroscopic surgery. Danged... this getting old stuff is the pits. My left shoulder is just starting to flare up again .. time for another cortisone injection in it too.
Today I have a garden club board meeting to attend and get the mail , then the afternoon is my own.Maybe I'll get dinner done ahead so all I have to do is set the table while it heats up in the oven.... so then I can start the book I brought home last week from the library or maybe do some beading....sounds like a plan to me ! I actually dusted the dining room and living room yesterday along with catching up the laundry and vacuuming - which I loathe to do  - it was so waaaay overdue ! I won't have much left to do to get ready for company on Sunday now as I've been tackling a room everyday.... thank god we have a small house.
Tomorrow I'm on the desk at the museum, and now I'm "on call" for the month of Nov. I can see the writing on the wall already... I should be chanting - do not answer the phone !
I just had a jolt - I counted the days till Christmas..... hold onto your hats it's LESS than 60 ............ it is 58 days till Xmas !    YIKES !!!!!!!!!!

Good chilly morning gals and guys!

I woke up early (5:30) so I've gotten a lot of "stuff" done already: washed up dishes, put pineapple chicken in the crock pot, rode the bike for 4.6 miles, etc. etc.
I'm tired, wish I could go back to bed.....LOL

Today is work from 9-12, then hopefully my van will be ready to bring home, and hand bells tonite at 6:30.  The cross stitch towel is about 1/2 done and the ones I ordered should be coming by early next week.  There are craft shows/bazaars starting here this coming weekend.....I really don't need anything but it's fun to go and look.

Tomorrow I have to go grocery shopping.....my refrigerator is absolutely bare!  And, if it warms up as predicted, I will be out in the yard cleaning up the flower beds in the afternoon.  Piano students don't come until 3:30, so I should be able to get it all done in
a hour or so.

Time for breakfast now.....have a wonderful day.

Nice to see you pop in, Aime. I sure pray that all is going well for you. Take care and remember you are loved!

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter
that tells what kind of life you have lived.

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.
