I don't care if your house is a mess. I'll just clear off a chair and sit my boney butt down, read a book, watch TV, drink coffee, and take lots of naps. . If you need me, I'll be there....To change dressings, empty drains, dispense drugs (only the GOOD ones!), make you food, and walk you to the bathroom when you need to go. I'm on the fence about helping you wipe your butt, though.
Please don't worry about the house. I have three cats, and enough cat hair all over the place to make a fourth kitty. I even have to rinse out my pots and pans before I use them, because Punkin can open the cupboards, and Copper likes to sit in the frying pans.
I hate housework, but love to clean closets, cupboards and drawers. Go figure. Leave the mess. I'll be there for you, not to inspect your housekeeping skills.
(Did your cleaning lady REALLY quit because you were such a slob??? You can't be THAT bad!!!)

It's going to be 83 Saturday..... temps for the next four days next week are 78.... it's going to be gorgeous.
Joe is ready. Says he'll buy your coffee....but we're good. ALL good.
As far as the house goes, I'm done...well, kinda. Just minor stuff.
Yep, the wife said my house depressed her. She didn't like hanging up my clothes and doing my dishes.....both things that I just won't do when I'm working so many hours. It really wasn't that bad (I didn't think) but she wasn't the greatest but she was in my budget.
Heading for $4 this morning. Then get my rat-killing done. Later, I'll be taking a LONG soak in the sugar scrub just because it will be my LAST one for awhile...then 4:30 this afternoon I'll be at the dr's office getting marked up with the dotted lines.
Holy crap...this came too fast.
Started to say I'd see you Saturday....I'm sure I'll remember at some point I have.
