Good Morning Carla and everyone........
I too feel so out of the loop!! I hadn't been on the board all weekend.
I had a wonderful relaxing and fun weekend with my girlfriends!! We all decided we really need to do this alot more often. We laughed and talked and cried and drank wine and got oh so silly!! It was just what I needed!!
Back to reality......brrrrrrrr it is so darn cold....snow yesterday but it didn't stick...thanks goodness!! The winds were just awful Saturday night and all day yesterday. It didn't even feel like the temps were in the teens.I was glad I went and bought a winter jacket!!
I spoke with Nic this morning. He starts his chemo week again today. So far so good. Last time he got so sick. He just sent me a text and said, "Nana I love you with all my heart". Needless to say I am sitting here with tears in my eyes.What a great kid!!
Carrie's (daughter) kids all have that awful cold and flu that is going around. Kyleigh and Lucas are home from school again today. Kyleigh went to school but ended coming home a little while ago. Amanda went and so far so good.
Other then that nothing new to report from me. I need to get back to my job after I check acouple more posts.
Carla....I hope you feel better soon. My thoughts and prayers are with you. They are also with your cousin....how tragic to lose another child. My heart is aching for her.

I have a young lady about 30 coming into the church office for counseling about 5:15. Luckily I already have the turkey chili made so it won't take long to get supper together when I finally get home.

am trying to motivate self to get pretty for DAR mtg tonite- really do enjoy it but just don't feel up to snuff today.....
did the work thing already....
michael was given a storm door( with raisable window) today-nice one! he is mounting it on the back door of garage- finishes the back very nicely!!
tomorrow is michael's orthopedic oncologist appt and it has me a bit freaked out.....

Hope you're feeling better ... you just sounded so down. Oh, got to tell you: spoke to my friend Margie today, and we were talking genealogy. Seems her family hails from England and had the last name Pace ... this came up because of a book I have been reading about the War of the Roses and the Duke of York's family. Any Paces in your background?
dunno---will have to look-plantagenets i have and nelsons, howards( they are the Boleyn tie--and dukes of norfolk etc), and some other known names....can't get at my "stuff" right this minute

I took the afternoon off.... had to go early vote. Met a friend for sushi. Stopped at the grocery and bought vegetables for some soup tonight. Just in the mood. Sister is coming for the armoir tonight so will be out of my living room. Need to pay bils online and get that over with. Washed everything in the house. Need to pick up and tidy up (yanno, don't want Candy to think I'm a slob like my 'wife' did)...:) It's hell to lose your cleaning lady because she says your too messy....WTF?
Watched the yard man come next door and didn't do mine. I'm on a two week rotation but I guess it was last week..:)
I go Wednesday to get 'marked up'. Guess I'm really going through with this.... I'm sure I won't die....probably just wishing I would AFTER it's over. WHAT WAS I THINKING????
Oh, I got the Forever Box out. It's going to Millie in Washington. I took some more stuff out of it and put some more stuff in. Okay, I went shopping again. Millie, you should get it in a couple of days.
