Its Monday and what are you doing at 0131am!!!!!
I promise to take it easy.
The place where Tom works makes business forms. With people buying less these days, companies are not using as many business forms, and it is a vicious circle. Right now. Tom is the only one in the company who knows how to do his particular job - not even the boss/owner can do his work. But if the entire company folds - God help us all. We are counting the days until January 1st and holding our breath.

Gosh is it so ever cold here this morning. It is about 34 out so it is above freezing but not by much. I am just not ready for this! The weather man is talking about the S word this morning. He said that we might have flurries today along with some rain. I just don't want that terrible word to become a reality. Please just about anything but that!!!
I got my chicken fajitas in the crockpot this morning. I got them in about 20 minutes ago. So I know that dinner will be finished with the exception of some veggies. I have the taco shells in the fridge for Bill. I just put mine on a plate and load it up with extra cheese. I have to get the cheese since I remembered everything but that. Duh! My brain goes on vacation most of the time. I sure hope that it is somewhere warmer.
I have to go into the church office this morning. It is now 7a.m. and I should get to getting ready. I told Jeri that I would be there by 8 at the latest so time is moving on and I am not. There was 79 in church yesterday. The service was so nice and his sermon was on love. He does such a nice job. All three of his Sunday's brought in more people than we have seen in a loooong time. Britt just didn't make them want to come back. I think it is because he just spoke above so many people's heads. Pastor G is just one of us. A working class guy with the same problems as everyone else in the church does. He does have a gift for the sermons tho I must admit. The first 2 Sunday's he had 75 and then yesterday. I have had people telling me that they could listen to him all day. I agree with that.
Misty is sitting on the back of the recliner jus****ching me. She has been hooked to me since my feet hit the floor this morning. She has been getting in front of my when I walk too and one time it was dark and I ran into her. She made a noise and I told her that she needed to stay out of my way in the dark since I can't see like she can. She is totally back to normal now and there is no signs of the traumatic flea dip of just over a week ago. There will be no more of those for her that is for darn sure.
I better get going. I am sending love and hugs to all with prayers going up for everyone too. Special prayers are going up for those in need of them. Have a wonderful and blessed day and keep smiles on your pretty and handsome faces.
I am so sorry about your cousin losing the baby. I was there 3 times and I wouldn't wish that on anyone. It is heartbreaking for sure. Please know that my prayers are with her. It takes time but things begin to get back to normal. It is a new normal but that is alright.
I am so glad that you are getting to go trick or treating with Lily. I know that you love spending time with her. She is just such a little cutie too. Try not to spoil her to bad~yeah right on that one. That is like telling you not to breath! ha ha

Carla, sorry your tummy is acting up and truly sorry to hear your cousin lost her baby.
We had a busy weekend - daughter, SIL, and Gabe were in for a visit. Danny (son) and Ethan joined us for the day Sat. We went to a trick or trunk Sat. afternoon for the boys. They enjoyed wearing their Halloween costumes and trick or treating the decorated cars/trucks in the park. We stopped on the way home for them to throw rocks in the river! What is it about little boys, and apparently big boys also, and their love of throwing rocks in water? Sunday morning we went fishing. Gabe had never been fishing in the boat, only off the bank of a pond. He wasn't really impressed, as he was more concerned about falling into the water. We assured him he'd float like a cork with his life vest on. He did think it was pretty cool that grandpa let him "drive" the boat. Visitors headed home, George and I went to evening Mass, stopped at Wendy's for salads, and home to sleep! Happy but totally worn out grandparents!
Sat. while standing in line for the "trick or trunk" I started with an itch on my neck. George looked and said it looked like maybe a bug bit me. Within a few minutes, the rash spread around the back of my neck and up into my scalp. I called the dermatologist a few minutes and got an appt for this afternoon. I can't stand this itching, it's driving me crazy and now has spread around the front of my neck and up my ears. Benadryl and anti-itch cream help for a few minutes, but no real relief.
Hope everyone has a great day!
Debbie

Good Morning Carla and MY OFF Family!
Sorry to hear you're not feeling well and I hope it does not turn out to be anything serious, but don't waste anytime calling your surgeon about it. . . sorry to hear about your cousin's loss, it's sad when people want to have a baby and their bodies just sort of work against them. . . I'll be praying for her and for you to be healthy!
Well, speaking of healthy, I spent my weekend in the house nursing a bad cold and it was the first one I've had in quite a long time, still feeling crappy, but since the contagion period is over, I made it into work today.
Friday I went to get online and had no web access. So in between my personal trainer and a dentist appointment I spent over 3 hours on the telephone with Verizon trying to get the issue resolved, finally did at 10 p.m. Friday night, by which time I was really feeling the effects of my cold and the dental implant that the dentist started that afternoon and I just went to bed. Saturday I felt like I got hit by a truck and yesterday was not too much better, though I did rally for about 3 hours yesterday afternoon, at which time I tried a recipe for crustless Pumpkin pie, which as bad as my tastebuds are, seemed to turn out ok.
Well I think I'm going to see what you all have been up to, since I really did not feel up to sitting at my computer this weekend, though I did manage to lie on the couch with Dillinger's head in my lap and catch up with Grey's Anatomy and Brother's and Sisters, finally all caught up and into the current season (lol). . . now if my life just lets me watch the shows weekly, all will be well. . .
Have a wonderful Monday and my prayers and positive thoughts to all having challenges of any kind, Laureen

I have been up since 7 a.m. ... didn't really sleep all that well because of back and knee pain, but at least I got to sleep. Had some weird dreams (which I don't remember, just that they were weird). Had to take the cats to the vet. Nice vet ... my ex-neighbor, Linda, works for him, so I saw her, too, she's a vet tech. Anyway, Nettie and Diva didn't like the ride to the vet, and I heard the meow chorus all the way there and back, but they seem to be OK now. And the vet said they are OK. I thought I had figured out why Nettie might not be going in the box ... I thought maybe she was arthritic and had problems getting in there, so I found a little kitten pan that I got for free from PetsMart once, put a liner and some litter in there. Well, one of the cats went in there ... but then they also went behind it on the cat tower (I put the pan on the lower part of the cat tower where the poop had been.) So I'm no closer to figuring out who's pooping or why. Cats are healthy, and it cost me $86 (to be paid Thursday). I had to plead them to hold the check til Thursday too. They weren't too happy about that ... they wanted me to go to the bank and get money ... I told them there was $2 in the bank. So then they agreed to hold the check. I mean, the check will be good on Thursday, what's the problem?
After I dropped the kitties home, I went to the chiropractor and got adjusted. I hope that will help ease my pain. He said I was very tight. No foolin'! I wasn't surprised.
I had my chili last night, actually yesterday afternoon ... it was yummy ... put a whole lot of it in the freezer. Now I got to remember which is chili and which is spaghetti!
Carla, sorry you're not feeling well and really sorry to hear about your cousin's loss. Have never had to experience that, but I know it must be tough.
At the chiropractor's office, the receptionist said she saw snow flurries last night ... Yuck! I know it's coming ... it's forecast for today. It's cloudy at times today but sunny too. It's cold too. I think I'm going to get out my ceramic piece and try to work on it this morning for awhile.
Have a good day.
