Hi There,
I am up and I cant sleep. I am having major stomach issues with some pain from eating solids. I think I have adhesions like I had 5 years ago. I feel very nauseated and like I am 6 months pregnant. Maybe a trip to Denver is in short order!!!!!
I am off today and going to bake 6 Banana Breads for a bake sale to benifit Cancer research at my cousins shcool she teaches at.
Halloween is fast approaching on Friday and I am going with Lily and her mom to trick or treat then I am babysitting Lily so mom can go out to a party.
Say a prayer for my other cousin she lost her 3rd baby last night. She is having a D and C tomorrow cause they couldnt find a heartbeat. She was 4 months pregnant.
My daughter called me last night and asked me how to bake chicken!!!!! I guess she is cooking instead of eating out all the time. Got to save money in this day and age. I guess Ill go out and buy her a cookbook.
Well talk on ladies and gentlemen, I am going to find some compezine to take away this nausea.

Carla, I hope you are feeling better by now!  So sorry to hear your cousin's news.  So sad to lose a baby.  She and her family will be in my prayers.

How interesting that your daughter wanted to know how to bake chicken!  My 24 year old son is asking similar questions, now that he is out on his own.  He really didn't want to learn much about cooking when he was living at home, but I guess the reality of the economy is setting in.

I fell and hit my head Tuesday, and am now just getting over the symptoms of the concussion.  I had a CT scan and everything.  I REALLY saw stars!  Scary!  Glad I'm better now.  Back to work in the morning.

I hope your nausea has eased and you are sleeping peacefully.  I'm off to bed myself!

Evelyn, I am so glad that you are feeling better after your fall. Hitting your head sure isn't anything to mess around with. Please take care of yourself. I am sending you prayers on feeling back to normal.

Good Morning Carla and Everybody,

Hope you are feeling better, Carla.

We had three inches of snow yesterday and it is still here. No melting! This is just too early for this kind of thing. I am not a fan of winter. I am not ready for ice and slippery roads. The high today is just going to be 34 with strong winds.

My son is taking his vacation this week. We are still putting up wood for the winter. This snow has made us realize we have to get busy doing a lot of winterizing outside. the plants have been taken care of but we have a lot of raking to do yet. We are behind this year. I am blessed I have a son who helps out.

Hey Carla,

The monster must be busy tonight, my old dog ate something the young one stole off my desk and started yakking at 4:00. Gary had gotten up early yesterday, so it's my turn to be up with "the boys".

Sorry you're not feeling well, and especially sorry for your cousin.

Halloween is fast approaching, so we' better get on the Secret Pal band wagon and get those gifts in the mail. Hmmmmm wonder who has my name, and if the person I'm sending to has any idea it's Me??

Hope everyone has a wonderful day today.

Susan

We got our green house all fixed up for the winter. and all the tropicals inside yesh rday , all except two that are so big dont know what i will do wita them...sure dont want to lose them they are so pretty...covered them and wrapped them with comforters last night and might can do that again today for tonight but not  a solution for the winter.
tonight is our monthly support meeting that i lead...we are talking tonight about emotional eating. what makes you want to eat?and what do you want to satisfiy that urge...what is your comfort food. mine is chips...so i dont buy them at all. i would eat  a whole bag if i get started. and i dont know if mine is emotional just want to eat...

Carla ~ don't put off seeing your doctor too long. Hugs to you. That is sad about your cousin.

I am going back to work today. I am more than ready to get back and see my 2 clients. It feels as if I have been home for 100 years.

My husband works in a printing company. Last week two of the pressmen were laid off. Scarey because the pressmen are the 'elite' in a printing company. The stress level is very high and everybody is nervous. Tom is counting the days until he retires January 1st.

Time to shower and get ready to earn a paycheck. YAY!!!!

Kisses

Annette, please remember to take care of yourself today at work today. The first few days might be a bit rougher than normal.

It is very scary with the jobs situation now. It is a shame that people are losing their jobs so close to retirement and it should be against the law that companies can do that. That is happening more and more and I am sure that it is just the beginning of that. Bill's cousin got laid off last week for anywhere from at least 22 weeks. He works as an outside contractor at US Steel. I am just holding my breath that doesn't happen to Bill. I didn't think that they could do that if they had contracts with the company but I guess they can. I am so afraid this whole mess is going to get ALOT worse before it starts to slowly get better.
