hi all,
well i had my lap rny thurs morning and i must encourage everyone on the fence or just waiting to do this.........to do it!
i've had several surgeries in the past (hysterectomy, gall bladder, appy, breast reduction and thumb surgery.) I have to fully admit, this was by far the easiest recovery i've ever had.
thanks to all of you for your prayers and mostly thanks to my Lord Jesus for keeping me safe and providing an easy time.
i'm back in the hotel room and haven't had any pain meds since yesterday (sat)........just eating purees.no nausea or vomiting and i've been walking a lot. i have a check up appt with my doc on thurs and then i can fly back to fairbanks.
i really feel good and am looking forward to stepping on the scales on thurs........will post soon. i pray that i continue to have such a good recovery....again, thanks for all your prayers and scootching over and making room for me on the losers bench,
denise

thanks again,
denise

Denise, I am so glad that everything is going to well for you so far. I am sure that you will continue to amaze all the doctor's and nurse's. It sounds like everything is going very well for you.

I will continue to keep you in prayers in Indiana so you should pretty well be covered throughout the whole United States and Canada too. Wow, what a wealth of prayers you have being said for you.

I pray that your recovery goes swiftly and pain free too. Keep us posted when you can.

Denise,
I am so glad you are doing so well, I didnt do so well when I had my surgery 7 hears ago. I had mine open and I was down and out for 10 weeks. But I would do it all over in a heartbeat if I had too.
You must be from Alaska!!!!! That is my dream to take a cruise there. I may do it in September for my 30th anniversary.

Denice:

Glad your procedure is over and you have done so well.  I am very thankful I had my lap band surgery Sept 29th.  I am down 18 pounds and off diabetes medicine.  it is a miracle and a blessing.

Keep in touch!
