I need your prayers....

Hi folks....

*sigh* .... well, when it rains, it pours....

Been out of work recovering from this knee replacement and the only reason we haven't completely gone under is because of my second job as an online moderator... not a lot of money per month but enough for us (with a little help) to keep our heads above water...

So... I get an email today from the company I do the moderating for (for the past 10 years) and they are sorry, but due to the economy they have to cut me off and let the forum just die I guess... I am fairly sure that the powers that be don't know how much revenue that forum generates for them... probably just a "bottom line" kind of decision I am guessing... or maybe they are going under too.... who knows...

We are gonna be in big trouble real quick if something does not happen soon... I am applying online with all kinds of companies but haven't heard a thing... I used to sell cars about 12 years ago, and had been contacted by the largest chevy dealer around (they saw my online resume) and wanted me to work for them, but I had just had surgery....now they have closed! .... the largest chevy retailer in the US, and they went under!

Good grief...

Please... just a small prayer to ask God to send a job my way...

thanks.....

Gosh Marc, I'm so sorry about your online job....  you will certainly be in my prayers that some type of job will come your way very soon.

I'm actually not surprised about the car dealership closing....things are tough everywhere, especially here in
Michigan.  How low can this economy go without an all
out depression-- which they tell us will never happen again!   I'm feel for people with big families that are not only losing their jobs, but their homes as well.
It's so depressing I don't even want to watch the news on TV anymore.  We all need to pray that somehow we
can get this country back to where it was.....it was originally founded under God's guidance, so we all need to get down on our knees and beg for "The big guy"
upstairs to help us do whatever to set this country right.   Sorry, didn't mean to go on and on......

Anyway, my prayers are with you and with everyone who is devistated by the downturn of the economy.

Hugs,
Pat R.

you have them from me!
and a hug thrown in for good measure....

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Hi, Marc - I hate to hear about your troubles.  Have you looked into working at home??  I know someone who makes quite good doing work on the internet.  I will look up the sites that she told me about and PM them to you.

And of course, I will be sending up prayers for you.

I actually thought all those "work at home" stuff was just a scam to get money from me....

if you know someone who is actually making a living working at home I am all for that!!

I will check my PM for the info... and thanks!

Be careful of most of those work at home sites ... they are a scam. Check them carefully. I would love to find something like that but most want you to pay them money and give you nothing in return. I fell victim to something like that once (luckily it wasn't a lot of money). Take care and I hope something turns up for you. I know how tough times are. I have a job but they keep cutting back pages here at work, so I'm never sure when they're going to cut workers too. I'm not surprised about the auto dealership, though ... the auto industry is in a lot of trouble. You're in my thoughts. Rest your knee as much as you can so you can job hunt more successfully.
