IT'S FRIDAY - Yes it is, yes it is!!! What's new with you????
Getting ready for a busy weekend.
Mary is having the baby shower for my daughter, at the same time the guys are going to be paintgunning for my grandson's birthday.
Only working my part time job Friday and Saturday and only the full time job Sunday night. Normally, I work OT if it is available.
Candy - Glad to hear you are coming to Big D. Janet is very fortunate to have you as a friend.
Denise had her RNY yesterday, hope all is well.
Kathi - Hope you didn't have to work too hard.
Debbie - You are making me jealous with your talk about the autumn colors. I am from NY, and lived way upstate for 3 years. The stretch of highway from Plattsburgh NY to Albany is just beautiful this time of year.
Annette - What you do for the newbies is so nice. I was an angel for a gal here and was there for her first walk. I don't know who was happier about it, her, me, or the nurse that didn't have to walk with her.
Connie - Enjoy your weekend at the cabin.
Vicky - Congrats on joining the Y. That is a big step. The bigger step is using it. I am guilty of not using mine. But I do intend to use it this weekend. Mary (wife) loves water aerobics, but all the classes here are 6PM. Unfortunately, I have the car at that time so she has no way to get there.
Well, hope everyone has a GREAT day as you prepare for the weekend.
GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!
had a plain ol' ****** at the donation physical yesterday- seems that i really was NOT due for a physical so i could have gone at my regular time vs taking off from work- they did do a blood draw to check my proteins more fully tho-still could have happened during my regular time--a computer glitch but it ticks me off...there's more- i'm just not up to typing it all!
chico is seeming to be better however this morning there is evidence that he threw up again during the night.....not a good thing....called the vets yesterday and they didn't have lab results yet- waiting is horrible... i am afraid that we will be driving to toledo today for meds and food---not what i want to do today-will if needed tho...
the rest of my what's new is basically about jeanb and melissa and i going to cedar point tonite.....will be fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! cold but fun!!!!!!!!!!
i need to get my secret pal's package ready to mail.....hmmmmmmmmmmmm cannot believe that it's almost halloween!!!!
anyhow- TGIF!!!!! yea, i know, i'm repeating myself!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
hugs and prayers............
I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

My weekend is still another day away but I hope everyone has some fun planned. Gary is going to get some much needed yard work done tomorrow while I'm at work, and I cleaned like a mad woman yesterday, so maybe we can do something on Sunday before the kids come for dinner/product production.
We see the graphic artist for the final proofs of the labels. I LOVE them, especially the font Matt has chosen, but Tess wants a different one. I really don't want any more hold ups and I surely don't want her to be unhappy, but the first of Nov is quickly approaching and time's a tickin'! We'll see....
The foot.....she's not so good. I'm very worried, in fact, had a hard time getting to sleep last night thinking about all I went through two years (wow!) ago, and how far I've come against all odds. Maybe I'm courting trouble. Maybe it's just adhesions? Calling the doctor for an appointment. Not knowing is the worst part.
Well.....off to the shower and ready for work. Hope you all have a great day and a wonderful weekend.
Susan
T.G.I.F. George and Everyone,
I think the paintgun experience sounds like fun, George. Have you ever been before? I know the baby shower will be wonderful, too.
Another busy day for me. Two people are out sick and so I've been extra busy. I was so tired last night I was in bed by 8 p.m. Oh well. It's Friday! I plan to do some purging from the office today as well. It's time to throw some very old paperwork out. We got a brand new copy machine installed yesterday. Old one wasn't color and now this one is. It's our printer, copier, and fax machine - all in one. I'm still trying to figure it out.
Don't have special plans this weekend but the usual cleaning and errands. The weather is warm but haven't had the promised winds again. Sure hope they stay away for us, too. I have lots of programs recorded from the week that we watch on the weekend. That will keep me busy I'm sure. I need a birthday present for a friend as well.
Well, that's it for me today. I hope everyone has the best Friday.
Hugs,
Kathi
I so badly need to get out into the yard and start cleaning it up for winter, but the weekend forecast is for cold and rainy weather.....hopefully we will have some nice days yet so I can get it done. Would also like to wash the patio doors once more before snow flies.....
They had a birthday carry-in at work yesterday, but since I don't work on Thurs. I didn't have to prepare
anything or be tempted by all the goodies.....I did get
my pot of chili made and it was really good. Also made up a batch of butterscotch protein ice cream.
Our bell choir will play for the first time this fall, on
Sunday. I did okay at practice, plus another new gal
came, so I only have one bell to ring....that took a lot
of pressure off me and she did really good for her first time. The director said we all sounded good.
Off to read a few more posts and then get my oatmeal made for breakfast. Have a good Friday.

Good Morning George and my OFF family,
George. Paintball sounds like it would be fun and exercise to boot. It amazes me how much more I am able to do physically with just a 50 pound weight loss. I've been up and down the ladder painting so many times in the past month and one year ago I couldn't get up to the second step, let alone make so many trips up and down the ladder.
I have taken a break from all the work at my daughters the past few days, trying to get myself back on track. It isn't easy......Struggling to get the water in.where before it was easy, part of it is that I am so cold all the time right now, so I have been drinking more coffee to warm up but that plays havoc with my sleep. Guess I'll switch to decaf in the afternoon or herbal tea to warm up.
We're picking my mom up in Wisconsin tomorrow and bring her here for a week. Sami sings in church on Sunday and mom has been wanting to see the girls. So she'll see Sami sing and be here for Halloween

Well I need to get showered and dressed before Earl returns with the girls. Have a great weekend everyone.
Hugs, Paulette

Good morning George and all. Yes, today is sweet Friday and Bill's last day at work and then it is vacation time. I have mixed feelings on the last part of that sentence. ha ha
Misty is watching something out the patio door and she seems like she is back to normal. It is about time. She is still craving love but I think that is because she has gotten so use to the added love that she has gotten over the past week. Love is not a bad thing and so I am sure that she will continue to get all the love and affection. She doesn't need to worry about it. We got her covered in that department. There is always an abundance of love for her.
It has rained during the night and that is what is suppose to be I guess all week end. I am so tired of rain but most of the time it is like that around here at this time of year. So why I think it will be any different this year is beyond me. It seems like it is always cold and wet when the little goblins go trick or treating. I don't get any trick or treaters here and haven't since I moved in. I miss seeing the little ones. I like to see the joy that they have in doing it. Besides they are so darn cute all dressed up and that is another thing I miss so much. I remember the first 2 Halloweens when we first moved in here. I waited and waited for someone to come and there was no one at all. I was so disappointed and I wish that someone would have told me that they didn't come here but no one did and here I bought all this candy and little individually wrapped pumpkin cookies for the little ones and Bill ate them. It was a hard job but he is always ready for that job. I guess he figures that it is a hard job and he is just the man to do it.
I am planning on staying home today. I might have to make a fast trip into the church office but I am hoping that Pastor will make the phone visit enough for him. I know it will be enough for me. I am so tired of going back and forth. It isn't a long trip but it isn't across the street either. I know that gas is going down (at least for now) but it still takes 15 minutes to get to the church. We have yet to talk about the organist problem that is coming up. Anna decided to do it until the end of the year. So that at least gives us some time. Mildred, who is going to be 91, had decided to not give it up. I think she is in for a surprise. Mildred seems to think that she has to get her way all the time and I don't think she is this time. I hear that Pastor wants the cd's of the hymnal too. I don't want Mildred to think that she is being put to pasture either so I am going to mention to Pastor about having her play on communion Sundays. That is once a month and hopefully she is happy with that. I think that Pastor and I are on the same page with the cd thing. It is hard to find a organist these days. It is harder to play church hymns on the organ too from what I hear and the last time I had to find one it was impossible. I got a pianist and that was the best I could do. Oh well, whatever is suppose to be will be I guess.
I better get going. I am sending love and hugs to all and prayers are going up for everyone too. Special prayers for those in need of them. Have a wonderful day today and keep a big smile on your faces.
