I just think it's a bad idea to post politics on a forum not intended for politics... I have been a forum moderator for many, many years, and speak from experience.

I agree with Marc, the OFF group does not do politics.  If you want that go to the main forum or maybe Rant and Rave forum.

I loved it.  Of course, I'm an Obama Mama.  The comments made by some about no politics here should apply to religion as well.  I mean, not every one on this board is of the Christain faith.  We have Jewish, Muslim, and even non-religious folks; yet, we non-christain folks don't yell foul when we see examples of faith based websites being pushed around.  So, what I'm trying to say is a little tolerance from everyone should go along way.  Some of the jokes that are passed back and forth tend to be way sexists and me being a feminists, well, I often get offended but don't say anything.  So, why the fuss over this particular post?  I don't get it.
