now that sounds like a meal plan i can live with.......but for today, i guess i'll settle for an iv drip. don't know if i'll even get ice chips later today........we shall see and i'm on my way.......have a great day!
(ps, my husband is doing a contract in Tucson and he says 90 is a nice day.....not sure for this alaskan girl but will find out come april or so!

It was 100 degrees here in So. California yesterday. Yuk and double Yuk..... Can't wait for some better temps in our near future. I like your menu today..... Same stuff for me today. I'm in a bit of a rut because it's here and it's easy...

I finished cleaning all the stuff out of Mom's room at the assisted living facility yesterday morning. What a relief to have that done. In the afternoon I took our pug, Polly, over to visit Mom in the nursing home. She and Mom were overjoyed to see each other. Then Mom had to go to the bathroom, a project that took about 20 minutes. When the nurse brought Mom back to her room, she was surprised all over again to see me and Polly - had totally forgotten that we were there - so we had another joyous reunion. Getting to repeat your happy moments isn't such a bad thing!

It is all the way up to 33 degrees here today; snow fell yesterday.
Question - my dietician just switched me to calcium citrate + D. Since then my tummy has felt really bloated, yucky and more yucky. Do you think there is a correlation or just a coincidence? Yeah, I know - call my dietician.

You know what's funny... I am feeling like a different person so much lately. I'm steadily losing weight and I feel so different. It's a good thing... but a little scarey too.

I've been so busy lately I haven't had time to post. Not even time to lurk some days. I went to a new nutritionist yesterday. I'm maintaining but she gave me a lot of good ideas to change up my menu and get me back on track to losing. I had really gotten into a rut. She told me to lose the protein bars and eat "real" food.

Not alot happening here....too damn cold for me!!!! I hate this MN weather...if it wasn't for my kids being around here I would move to somewhere warm!! My arthritis and fibromyalgia is really acting up.
I won three huge ribeye steaks at the meat raffle last night. I have many offers from friends wanting to join me in cooking and eating them!! They cost me a whole $2.00!!!
My cleaning fairy is here now. When she finishes up it will be time for me to start getting things together for a weekend of fun!! I did go buy a winter jacket yesterday....I will need it up north!!

Today the food is just food and that is a good thing. I am not concentrating so much on the food as I have. I eat when I am hungry and that is it. So maybe I am pointed in the right direction. We have to see. I still haven't gotten the scale batteries. I think I should do that today while I am out.

I was wanting to make stuffed peppers and forgot to take out the ground round for it from the freezer. I got it in the fridge now and I am going to put them in the morning for dinner tomorrow. I have to use the peppers and I have been wanting stuffed peppers so bad and now I am going to get them! YEA!!!!!!!!!
