Mouthwater Monday's topic for next week.....

Hi guys! I just thought that I would post the new topic for our Mouthwatering Monday thread. It is going to be chicken. Just remember that it is one recipe per person since we will be doing chicken again some time in the future.

So again~let us put our thinking caps on (and the weather is getting cooler so it will help to keep the heat in our bodies) and think of our favorite chicken recipe to share and to add to our "OFF The Kitchen Wall" cookbook.

Sounds good, Brenda!

I tried the Spiced Pumpkin Mousse recipe and we will have it for a snack at 8:30.  It sounds like it is OK for a pureed diet person (for 5 more days!)

Thanks for doing this, it is neat.

Teresa, the Mouthwatering Mondays is when I pick a topic or if someone has one just let me know. We write out our recipe (one per person per week) and then sometime down the road we are going to print them off (I am copying them each week) and have informal copies of the OFF cookbook which we affectionately named "The OFF The Wall Cookbook". If you have any other questions or ideas just let me know. We sure do hope that you join us. Just about any recipe can be made into a wls friendly recipe so don't worry about that. We mostly like the lower calorie, fat and carb recipes though.

Thanks Brenda. I have been writting down recipes from OH for almost a year. I have 2 composition notebooks full. I'm into my 3rd one now. I write down the persons name and what state they are from. I have all kinds, mine and theirs. So if I share their recipe I give them credit for it. I will go through and see what I have to go with the theme of the week. Teresa

Hi Brenda,

Chicken recipes sound great.  I was also wondering if with the cooler weather coming in we might do just soups on Monday.  Just an idea!  Thanks for starting this and making our OFF the Wall Cookbooks.

I made a copy of this message so I wouldn't forget and the Monday after next will be soups for you. Is that alright? I am so glad that you thought of this since I never had it cross my mind. Things like this is what makes us work so well together. Thanks again.
