Hugs and more hugs Eileen,

This has been a big decision for you but pain has inteferred with your quality of life. Ask tons of questions!! I know you will ask good ones.

Good decision, Eileen.  If at first you don't succeed...kick the hell out of your doc and try again.  I'll be pulling for you.
Be sure to tell this surgeon that he'll have a flock of formerly fat folks on his sorry butt if he doesn't get it right.
Luv ya, Carmel Valley Linda

Oh Eileen,
I know how you want to be out of pain. I am glad you are going through the 2nd surgery to fix it.
I wish I could come and take care of you for the time you get out of the hospital. But with being in season and being a shift supervisor it will be hard for me to take time off work.
You know I would do it if I could.
Love Ya,
Carla

God less you, I know what you are dealing with. I had both knees replaced at the same time when I was 48. I have wondered what will happen when I need a revision and I am hoping they can replace  the plastic between the implants. I have no idea how long they will last but you cannot live your life in pain so you get done what you can. I am hoping my upcoming weight loss will help me keep these knees a lot longer. I heard you can't relace them but once ,I sure hope that is wrong. I plan to live longer than the average life span of replacement knees

Well, they tell me the implant is fine (this is less than two years old) but there are other structural problems with my knees ... ligaments, tendons ...that occurred after the surgery. I had mine done in Feb. 2007, I get dates confused sometimes ... I was 51 going on 52.

Eileen,
Sure am sorry your having to have more doen but it beats the alternative ....Not being able to walk painfree as we age is not a good thing and especailly not having many to help you out...
Sorry your not in my area as I would be there in a RED HOT MINUTE as they say here in the south :)
I will however be praying for you and in my opinion , that can do more than anything :)
Hugs to you

Oh those darn doctors are something else!  Ugh!  But I'm glad he is listening to you and you're going to get this taken care of so you can be relieved of all the pain.  You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Peace and blessings...
