Its almost Tuesday Folks

Greetings from the Gulf Side of Florida!!!!!
It is 14 minutes till we hit Tuesday!!!!!
I'm still up cause my pouch is being grouchy!!!!! Liquids go down fine but solids have a different story to tell!!!!!
Not sure why this is happening. I did eat some Pot Roast I made today but I usually can tolerate beef. Hope it is better by morning
I decluttered the house somewhat. It sure does look a bit different but I have more to do.

After cleaning up my sister In Laws house and it was a pig stye!!!!! I decided I didnt want my house to look like that so I am in cleaning mode.
What is going on in your world?
Today I work from 9 to 3 then I am taking care of Lily. I havent seen her in about 2 weeks. I am excitef for Lilyand her mom. They got a new car and I really want to see it.
Well off to La La land for a while.

I guess this is our What's New thread today. 

Had a great day Monday.  Slept in.  Got up at 2PM (normally get up at 1:30).  Ate breakfast.  Mary and I were going to go to the gym.  Were going to.  She was not feeling 100%.  We were going to go to Eddie's baseball game afterwards.  So, instead, we went to Eddie's game early and I got to warm him up.  Played catch with him for about 20 minutes.  Then we got to watch him play.  He had a real good game.  Two solid hits, a single and a double.  Stole 3 bases.  Fielded the only ball hit to him cleanly.  During the game the coach admitted he gets scared for the other kids when Eddie is on the field.  He runs hard all the time.  Coach is afraid he will run into a kid who is going after a ball lazily. 

Took some pictures.  One was really good of Eddie sliding into home.  As soon as I get the disc made I will post it on my profile.

After that I came to work.  I started reading some newspapers from home that my sister had sent me.  

I guess I should go and do my actual work right now.  Later. 

They won 16-0.

I drive this morning to Richmond (about 1 1/2 hours) for a Clergy Women's Collective meeting from 10-2.  I guess I will go to the  local Harris Teeter up there and get cottage cheese and hopefully applesauce off the salad bar for my lunch.  I have choir tonight and hope to get in a walk in between the two.  This is supposed to be my day off.  So will try to steal a few hours here and there as the week goes along.

I held first place this week in Fantasy Football on the CA boards......never would have thought I would get this far.....lol

I am in a league that is made up of either family or work friends.  I, my son, my grandson, and my daughter (she is not necessarily a football fan, but does all her evaluations by numbers) all have teams.  Plus there are 4 co-workers.

My daughter won the league last year.

This past weekend Eddie and I went against each other.  We were both 6-0 going in.  Well, he is now 6-1.   Beat him soundly.  But I am doing it with mirrors.  I have Favre as my QB and he is not putting up big numbers.

Eddie sounds like another Aaron Rowand ... my kind of player.

morning !! we spent another two weeks' pay at the vets yesterday on chico- the news was somewhat disconcerting...although he is better; apparently/possibly  he has a disease that macaws get that can be deadly... not 100% that he has it- she did a blood test that gets sent away so we wait a few days..if he has this it is something he probly was born with ..kindof like lou gehrigs in ppl...sposed to not be pretty--and he is the most gorgeous loveable  gentle bird...this is killing michael.......soooo the attitudes at my house are not great...

working over today to make up an hour and a half for tomorrow that i have to leave early due to a dr appt-his shoulder and hip issues....

Hi Carla and Everyone,

Good for you, Carla, to be getting rid of the clutter.  Always a very rewarding project.  I need to do a little bit of that here as well.  I live in a very small condo so even the littlest bit of excess isn't good.  Between you and Margo, I should get myself motivated.

Hope this morning finds your pouch feeling better.

Nothing different for me today.  Work and more work.  I can't seem to shake the pesky 4 ounces to reach a new milestone in weightloss.  Waiting not so patiently for that to happen.  It will happen.  It will happen.  It will. It will.

Morning Carla and all my OFF friends,

It's my Monday and hopefully this week will be a little slower than last.  My ankle has decided it doesn't like me standing on it for 11 hours at a time, so it's all puffy and sore. Damn.  It's all because I saw my orthopedist's nurse on Saturday and bragged about how well I was doing. That's what I get, huh?

Saint Bella is moving along. Tess and I worked our little hiney's off on Sunday brewing and filling. Now if the labels will just get finished and printed, we'll be on the way!

Going for a 6 month check at the plastic surgeon's office today. He wanted to see how things look at this point. There is still some loose skin on my upper lids and some puffyness under one eye. It's something that I can live with, but it's not the end result I'd hoped for. So.....we'll see. If he thinks he can do someting about it and NOT charge me any more I may consider it.

Margo.....prayers for your bird. We're bird folks too, they're very special creatures.
