Keep your eye on the prize!!
Don't forget chapstick for in the hospital and a small pillow to hold against your tummy for on the ride home.
I didn't mind the LD at all. I was on it for two weeks before surgery and four weeks after. I did very well.

Hooray for you! This is an exciting time for sure and, as has been said, you may find yourself with lots of excess energy to put to good use. Another thing you might want to do is make a list of all the things you'd like to be able to do, things you haven't been able to do in years, for your post-surgery life and I'm willing to bet, that one by one, by your first surgiversary, 2nd at the most, you will have done a good many of them. . .
Focus on changing your lifestyle, habits and try to remember the reason are are going to be on the pre-op diet and are having this life-altering surgery in the first place so that when the thoughts of food come into play, you can redirect your thoughts, if you start changing the things you can now, it will benefit you post-op.
Best wishes, Laureen
