Hi Kim and welcome to one of the nicest places you could possibly find on here!
I've been on here since July '07 and these people have listened to me tirelessly ever since! I've had the fortune to meet a few of them last April and we had a blast!
As for you being 50, there is at least one person I can think of on here who has not achieved that milestone in life yet (lol). . . no one cares about how old you are. . . so hang out and Marc was too funny. . .
By the way, try photobucket.com, they have some software (it's free) that you can shrink your photo to fit the parameters of what can be an avatar on here.

Sure, you can join, Kim ... if you have problems with your avatar photo, maybe Joyce (who posts often but not often enough) can help you ... she's better with photos than a lot of us ... if you see her online, send her a message (mine was too big too and I didn't have the software to make it work).

Gosh, YES - By all means, join in. This is the most supportive messageboard on OH. How are you doing since surgery? If you send your avatar picture to me at [email protected], I'd be happy to resize it for you so that the OH site will accept it. (Also, will do the same for any of our sisters or brothers). I love to see the pics.
Hi Kim, I will be 50 May 09, and they welcomed last week. I agree about some of the other boards it does get crazy at times. I'm more of a lurker however I hope to get better at jumping in.So absolutely yes join in!
