I realize this is the over 50 club, but I truly think I belong here....

I will turn 50 in December and have been searching for the right forum. There is so much hate and bickering/backstabbing on many of the other forums that I would love to come on here, read, relax, network etc and feel totally at ease. Anyone care that I join? Pleeaaseee????

yes; you certainly may join us--please jump in with both feet! we do a daily what's new thread- it's a great way to get to know the rest of those who post- some of us have been around a very long time so we may talk like we really know each other-and we do!! we also have had some face to face gtg's so don't be shy if we really seem personal!!!

i do have to agree with marc- we really love to see who we are talking to so a pic is very important! that is your homework!!! i did NOT look to see when you joined OH or where you are surgery non etc ..so forgive me--but please do feel comfy and tell us about kim and etc....

Hi Kim, and welcome. We are a group of people who share some great things with each other. These folks are the family that I chose and not the ones that I had to keep. We all, I am sure, have relatives that we would not choose. I know that I do.

Please feel free to post often so we can get to know each other. You will get to know us just popping in on the threads. The morning thread is one that would be a good way to get to know us, like Margo said. We share our days and plans with each other and usually there is always a conversation going with that. Every Monday I start the Mouthwatering Monday thread and we share a recipe for the topic of the week. I pick the topics but I am always up for a idea. So feel free to let me know if you have an idea or if you need some help in a certain category for what you like to fix. I am saving all of them for our OFF (over fifties forum) cookbook which is going to be named "OFF The Kitchen Wall".

We share each others joys, happiness, tears and tribulations. I have found that everyone here loves unconditionally and that includes, as I like to say, all of our warts too. God only knows that I have plenty of warts. If you have any questions please feel free to ask away and know that there is a lot of knowledge on this forum.

Welcome. this is a better place than some of the other forums. Some are pretty crazy I must agree. Most of the people here are outstanding and very helpful. Just jump in and enjoy the ride. We had surgery the same week. Welcome.

You are certainly very welcome to join us any time. I haven't been around long but I can tell you the folks here are very supportive.

I haven't figured out the aviator thing either, keep meaning to ask my daughter to help when she come by.
