Good Morning, all you sleepyheads!

I'm getting ready for work.  The dreaded 4:30 am shift all week.  Not much to say, except "WHERE'S MY COFFEE???"

Y'all get started, and I'll catch up when I get home from work and Physical Therapy.  Fun, Wow!

Good morning to everyone!

Great day on Sunday.  The only bad thing was the Jets lost.  But so did the Cowboys!!!!! Yayyyy!!!!!!

Went to Sunday School and church.

Tonight at work I am working hard.  Trying to organize my two fantasy baseball keeper teams.  (I do have my priorities).

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!

Goode Morning all ....Margo e-mailed me as "missing in action" but I am on vacation in Florida and on the hotel computer this morning. I am here for our family "Grams Birthday weekend" My Mom is 93 this weekend....and so my two daughters, my two nieces and my SIL are down here in Delray Beach Florida [east coast, just below Palm Beach] for our Birthday Bash.....we take her out twice a day and celebrate her birthday with cake and singing....and lots of yummy food...but I keep bringing my leftovers back to the hotel and never eating it.....one waitress chided me as " you have barely touched your food...is there something wrong?",,,,just not too hungry.....but my Mother makes up for it....she eats like a truck driver and weighs 108 pounds.

We have had a great relaxing time here with all. We are staying at a little boutique hotel...70 guest rooms. It is so charming, it was built in 1926 and is on the Historic Hotels of America. It is called The Colony Hotel. Even has the original old elevator and an operator.
It is all wide open and sweet little birds come in and fly around and peck at any crumbs....there were yoga classes and a little jazz combo on the "front porch".this weekend..it is right on the main drag..and very interesting to sit and watch the world go by. They have a great Cabana Club on the ocean, with a big sal****er pool0

Well I best get up to my room and get my things as I have to take my daughter to the airport in Palm Beach. My SIL and I are leaving for Dallas tonight and I will be staying there for the rest of the week. Going to hopefully see the red head and have lunch with her....and anyone else avaialble.

Have a great day...Love, Marti

HI Candy and Everyone,

I feel for you working hard this week, Candy.  I know you'll be fine doing it for one week.  I work early everyday and I do like it.  It's nice to have half the afternoon for myself.  By Friday night, though, I'm ready for a 12-hour sleep.

Had a very busy day yesterday.  Went to see our little grandson and that was tons of fun.  He's really into his age and reminds everyone that he is now 2 and ONE HALF.  LOL  Made us smile.  I took a couple of Halloween books and he was counting pumpkins...... over and over again.  Came home and got myself lost in crochet projects.  I played with some chenille yarn I have for hours.  I can't seem to find a pattern for it I like.  I tried 5 different patterns and kept ripping it all out.   Don't know what to do with it.  Suggestions?

I realized I didn't even get to the computer at all most of the day yesterday.  I had to read to catch up with everyone.

A belated happy anniversary to you, Margo.  I hope Chico gets better really soon.

Annette - thanks for sharing your story with your daughter.  I know you are doing right for yourself and it's wonderful you are seeing the nutritionist to try to get more information for understanding.

Aime- It's really good to see you posting again.  I hope your day back to work goes well.

Susan - Glad work is busy but I'm sorry your foot is bad.  I love following your new business venture.

Back to work today for another week of fun and joy.  Happy Monday!

Hugs,

Kathi

Good morning, Candy, it is wonderful to see you start out thread. I miss you when you aren't here.

Today is Monday and guess what! I already started the Mouthwatering Monday thread. I am so impressed with me. I must be honest and last night after talking to Eileen~for about 2 and a half hours mind you~I made a note for me to remember. Gotta do what ya gotta do!

Bill is off to work already this morning. He is working days since his boss has a safety meeting today. He is kind of happy about it but in other ways he's not. Some people you just can't please and unfortunately he is one of them. He changes his mind like the wind changes. And they say that women are not able to make up their minds, HMMMM...........

I am about ready to kill Misty. She is getting on my nerves and I am ready to just about sh-t can her too. She is making a constant mess of her food and water. She is playing in them and getting it all over the kitchen floor. I talked to Eileen about it last night and she reminded me of the spray water bottle I have for her. So I heard her just now in the kitchen and here she MOVED her whole watering and food containers. We went out and bought her food and water things that come out as they are used. So much for that idea but she is keeping them until the day one of dies~and it may just be her in a very short amount of time! I got the water sprayer and sprayed her from one spot to another. She was just going back and forth behind my chair and I would just get her with it. Finally she smartened up and fled down the hall and more than likely under the bed. The kitchen was a mess. She moved both holders and water and food all over the floor. I cleaned it up 4 times and Bill cleaned it up 1 or 2 times in the 2 and a half hours before we left for church yesterday. I left her no water at all when we left. I told her that if she was thirsty she could go in the bathtub and drink some of the leaking water that she goes in a plays in until she is sopping wet. Then when her head and body is sopping with that she comes to me and then she shakes and gets me all wet. I think a good way to do her in is by drowning. Very appropriate. Well....you can't blame an angry woman for dreaming!

I have few things to do today but everything is going to be done in slow motion since my back is hurting so bad I could scream. We went to the pumpkin patch on Saturday and I was walking very slowly and hunched over because I couldn't stand up straight. I am still walking over in a hunch. I look a bit like the Hunchback of Notre Dame. It is appropriate that I live so close to Notre Dame. It is just about an hour and a half away from me. I use to pass it all the time when my first husband and I would go to South Bend to visit his grandma and grandpa. So back to the subject........whatever I do is going to be done walking slowly and hunched over. Oh well such is life in the fast lane here in Portage.

I better get moving. I need to put dirty dishes in the dishwasher and get it started. Then I have to fill Misty's water thingy up yet AGAIN! Can you tell I am so angry at her right now? Something seems to tell me you can.

Have a wonderful and blessed day everyone. I am sending love and hugs to all and prayers are going up for everyone too. Special ones are going up for those in need of them, and trust me Misty is one of them. ha ha

I'm doing "green" text today for "get going Monday"
or Tuesday, Part I, which ever you prefer!

Brenda, your poor Misty is trying to tell you something....maybe a change in food, perhaps.  I use the
Purina Older Cat formula, maybe Misty needs the "indoor" cat formula.....it has green stuff in it and sometimes they crave that.   If you do change, do it gradually over a few days, otherwise it will upset her tummy.   Maybe she just needs some loving and attention?  Too bad our animals can't talk, huh?

I will post a recipe this afternoon for Shrimp Fettucini
....don't have time to get it out and do it now.

Off to work this morning....unlike others I enjoy my job a lot and am always eager to go and be with people.  I spend most weekends alone so going to work is good for me.

Glad to see Aime back....we've missed you dear lady.
Hope your day back at work will be a good one.

To all my OFF friends, I wish for you a day filled with sunshine and gladness.

Pat, Misty eats the Purina Indoor formula. In fact that is the only kind of food she will eat. I have tried some other brands of the indoor formula and she won't touch it. She won't even eat any treats or anything. Just her food. I think I agree with you that she is craving attention. I have been gone so much and she doesn't like that at all. I don't know what she is going to do when and if I get a job. She is worse than a kid and it is a darn good thing that I love her so much. She would be on a sky hook if I didn't.
