Hi Linda!

I wish we could all quit working, too.  I guess it's too hard to appreciate the good in our lives without a little of the "bad" and work is a big part of the "bad."  Can't wait to hear about your Halloween costumes!  It's such an interesting holiday.

B-AchievOne

S-yogurt w/berries

L-bbq pork and green beans

D-bbq pork and green beans  (I made a bunch and hubby doesn't like it so I must eat it all by myself)

Hugs to you special lady!

Kathi

Hiya Kathi, the boys dress up as does their mom. They usually go to the mall for treak or treat, and back to grandms' as I always have a treat.
I hate to sound ungrateful to have a job at these tryimg times, but it is tiresome, and stressful!!
Have a great day.

Good Monday morning to you sweet lady. What kind of costumes are you making for Halloween? This is my nieces favorite time of year~hmmm could it be because her birthday is on Halloween? Me thinks so. I have always told her that she is my Halloween witch~sometimes a good one and sometimes a bad one.

It has been a couple of day since I have been on here. Things are good but I have to get the batteries for my scale in order to weigh today. It won't do anything at all now. I should have gotten them before but I hope I remember to get then now. Memory is not good you know.

Today is just another day to me for the food. Nothing ever seems to change.

B: sf maple and brown sugar oatmeal and slim fast low carb shake
L: half a peanut butter and jelly sandwich
D: the usual~fish and veggies
S: not sure yet

I am sure glad that Bill likes fish as much as I do. He gets it enough. He is working days today and so it is going to be nice having him home for dinner at dinner time. I cherish the times he is home and we get to eat dinner as a family.

I better get moving. I am sending love and hugs and special prayers for you and yours. Have a wonderful day and good luck on the costumes.

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter
that tells what kind of life you have lived.

Hiya Millie,my oldest grandson is going to be Harry Potter, and the younger one,Peter Pan,I do not know what my baby granddaughter will be,she was a bunny last year.  They will all cute, and Olivia is dressing up like a geisha. It is a miracle she can fit the komono, it is so small, it was given to me by sister, who got it from Japan.
The boys love any day that has candy in it....

Hiya Brenda, the kids are very creative, but they ever dress as demons or such,I have issues  with that...smile.
I hope you remember your batteries.
Hugs

Linda,

The last time I dressed up for Halloween, I was a skinny 25-yr-old.  I dressed as a black cat, in black tights, black leotard, black satin cord for a tail, fabric ears that I glue to a headband, and whiskers drawn on my face.

I have not been sleeping well since moving Mom to the nursing home.  I wake up at 3 am with my brain racing and can't get back to sleep.  By 10 am, I'm ready for a nap, but I don't want to nap because that will screw up the nighttime sleeping even more.

Mom spent a few hours with us yesterday, but in the middle of the afternoon she announced that she was ready to go home.  Of course, in the car she admitted she doesn't know where home is (that's nothing new).

B: 2 soft-boiled eggs
S1: 6 oz yogurt
S2: 20-oz iced skinny latte
L: 2 oz salmon veggy cake, 2 oz mushroom salad
S: 1 oz cheese
D: 1 oz baked crab rangoon, 2 oz roasted green veggy mix
S: 4 oz SF pudding

Jean,I hope you can get your sleep back. You have been so busy. Mom is alright, now take a little time for you,do something you enjoy, and something soothing would help to.
Hugs and sweet dreams.
