Hi Friends,

Just wanted to say hi.  My weight is at a standstill right now and I am staying between 158 and 160.  Up and down, up and down.  It irritates me.  But I won't let it go over 160 or I go back on Whey Protein to get me back down.

How are all of you doing.  I dyed my hair dark again.  It makes me feel younger.  I get more compliments too and it's because I have very olive skin.

Let me know how you all are doing.

Love and Hugs,
Esther

Hi,  I know what you feel like.  My surgery was 3 years ago and I have lost only 70 pounds.  It's a frustrating standstill.  I know it's my fault that I haven't lost more because the old habits have crept back in.  It would be nice to have a weigh-in or whatever buddy to keep motivateds.

Hi Mandy,

It is hard too not return to old habits.  I have also been eating fryed foods and sweets so it's my own fault that I have stopped losing.  I will post here every Monday and we can keep each other strong and report in to see if we stayed on our good food eating plan.

We can do this together.

Hugs,
Esther

Hello Esther,
It has been a while. The darker hair is pretty, so was the blonde. It is fun to change occasionally.

My weight went down a tad due to the recent surgery but I'm sure it will be better as I'm feeling more healthy.

Right now I am hovering around 111 pounds which is a smidge too low. Last week I had my two year labs. The nurse called to let me know they were all good.

The surgeon warned that at the two year mark it is common to gain some weight, that scares me. We will talk more when I see him on the 31st.

Nice to hear from you again. I missed you every Monday.

Kisses
Annette

Hi, Esther!

I am only 3 weeks after surgery but am having trouble with night eating.  I am still supposed to be on pureed and I am getting so hungry!  Last night I ate about a cup and 1/2 of leftover stovetop dressing, COLD.

At this rate I never will loose more than 15 pounds.  It keeps going up and down this week.

You need more water...broth...jello...popcicles...cream soups....stay away from the starch...you don't want to set up any cravings this early.

I bought alot of cream soups today at the store and am going to try to keep those going.  I think I drink alot of water, but maybe it is not enough.  s/f Popsicles I have been having and I need to make up some jello.

I will try very hard to stay away from starch.  I think I have been a starch addict from way back!!!

Jeane:

Why don't you send me mail everyday on here and tell me what you have eaten...I will help you.  It looks like I am a month ahead of you. Is this a good idea for you? Just post it and I will answer you . I think this site is outstanding because we are the only ones that truly understand what the others are going through at that particular time.

get yourself the proper stuff and drink lots of fluids.

i know this sounds wierd, but after surgery when i didnt want to eat i watched the food network on TV and spent my time planning how to make those recipes weight loss friendly when i was ready to deal with food again.

good luck, you CAn do this
