IT'S SATURDAY - What's new with you?
Not really. Time share folks cancelled out. And I had already cancelled my overtime. At least I can still work my part time job.
Mary and I went to the gym when I got home tonight.
Going again tomorrow, after the movies. We are going to see Road to Rodanthe.
Then tonight I will be flipping back and forth between the baseball game and the Texas - Missouri game.
Mostly the baseball game.
Check with you later.
GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!
Can't believe it's Saturday, before 6:00 am and I'm at work. Brenda is so swamped with work that she had to work today, so I thought I might as well work too. The new boss and his new secretary are moving to our office next Friday so I'm busy getting ready for them. I'm still not sure what my new job will be, but it seems like they're trying to take care of me. Only time will tell. Needless to say, I'm still very stressed about the uncertainty.
Brenda and I are still on an OFF Cloud Nine after having such a great time with our OFF family in Frankenmuth. It was just the best weekend. So many wonderful hugs and great times. I now really feel like part of the OFF family (not that I had any doubt). Hopefully once work calms down, Brenda will start posting once in awhile too.
Hope everyone has a great weekend.

there never was a doubt about you being part of the OFF family--just that we need to see brenda more! she is a charm and she is hidden....understandably and regrettably by work!
your job situation will work out for you i am confident--mine- well...
special hugs!
I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

both the dog and the cat have been hovering over me ..not sure why...maybe they think i am going away again this weekend-don;t i wish!!! it's very difficult to knit with a dog plopped in one's lap!!! finished my mom's hat ( for Christmas) and watched some tv with michael- very disturbing PBS about saddam hussein and then a history channel on jim beam and otehr whiskeys...i am not a whiskey drinker but it was interesting! oh then watched crusoe ...weird but....
ok now the cat is on my shoulder....this cat usually is quite content to live in her chair in our bedroom- lately she has been venturing out like she belongs here! haha! and lovey dovey!!!!
allergies kicking butt this morning and i don't know why...
plasma donation at 1030 and not sure what exactly the rest of the day holds!
cleaning something i am sure!
rec'd an invite to the youngest granddaughter's first birthday party--same scenario as the last- they are still living with the other grands so nothing that takes lotsa space--will have to go shopping--darn!!!!!! to have to shop for a girly girl who is one!!! tuff life i have , eh???? party will be on michael's bday so i don't have to bake a cake!! whooo hooo!!!! ( good thing or else i would eat it--tho i found the pillsbury low sugar cake mixes( thanx phyllis!) so maybe i'll make him his own for home).
thanks , all, for a positive swing on the larger font request! i thought it was just moi having issues!
missing my youthful cow.....
hoping all have a great day and sending hugs and prayers.....

It suppose to be beautiful here in West Michigan today, maybe a fall photo shoot is in store for me today. A nice walk....humm sounds like a lovely day in store.
George, I went to see that movie Road to Rodanthe. Make sure you bring extra kleenex for your wife. I was running out and almost had to use my sleeve...ha. I cry easy at movies.
Wow... 3 guys posting on one post! ... might be a record!
I was approached at church by a gentlemen who is in the local Coast Guard Auxiliary about joining the local Flotilla.. being an ex Coast Guard Chief I figured it would be pretty cool!
All the paperwork went through and I was accepted, and the first meeting was today.... but being unable to drive (I can, but it hurts the knee to do it) and being on the pain meds I had to wimp out this morning... and I am feeling like such a wimp... was really looking forward to re-joining the world outside my house... I will be able to attend next months meeting for sure...
The Physical Therapist put me on the regular exercise bike yesterday... my knee was able to finally do a complete revolution on the pedals but it hurt like hell... I told Mrs. Marquis de sade that it hurt real bad and she responded with "uh huh... do 10 minutes" and walked off... such a lovely caring woman... and so pretty too with all that studded leather and the matching whip....
So... nothing exciting today.... had my chance and wimped out... I have cleaned this house within an inch of it's live, so I guess I will just putter in my woodworking shop and clean up out there a little..
Hope y'all <------- (Georgia word) have a great day!

Happy Saturday George and Everyone!
Margo - LOVE seeing the real you! Great photo.... you look marvelous.
George - sorry the timeshare thing didn't go off today. Next time. Enjoy the time off for yourself. Can't wait to hear if you like the movie.
Gotta clean and run some errands today. That's about it. Wish I had more excitement in my life to share but am quite content.
Take care and enjoy this beautiful fall day today!
Hugs,
Kathi
Yes, I'm still among the land of the living. Barely. I've had a new work schedule for the past two weeks, and I'm adjusting. Again....barely. That's OK, next week it changes again. I start at 4:30 am every day. But just for a week. Gotta love this job...only for another 18 months or so.
Last weekend I spent working in the yard, cutting back what seems like an acre of perennials, but is probably just a half acre or so. I'd like to get out there again today and do some more cleanup, but fortunately, it looks like rain, so I'll be saved from myself.
I'm going to do a massive cook-in today and tomorrow, and stock the freezer with soups and stews and chili for the next few months. I've never figured out the cooking-for-one thing, and still make enough of pretty much everything to feed a small army...or me, for months at a time. It's also time to change out the summer weight curtains for the heavy drapes, to try to keep some of the heat in the house this winter. This house has old windows and doors, and the drafts are COLD!!!! One of the fewthings I miss about my old weight was being warm. Now it just comes in flashes, unfortunately. That doesn't help the heating bill.
Margo, great idea for the larger type. Easier to see when I write, and much easier to read. I don't post much anymore, but I do read the thread every day. Usually in the wee hours of the morning, so the larger type helps.
All y'all (Dallas-talk) have a great weekend!
