Good morning everybody!!!

Let's see, what has happened in my life?  Bought gas at $2.63 on my way to work.  Invited to my grandson's paintgun party on Oct 25.  Cancelled my OT for Saturday morning so Mary and I can go do a timeshare thing.  Getting $100 Visa card, $50 Olive Garden, plus trip for 3 days, 2 nights to Vegas.

Eileen - I am working Thanksgiving.  My normal workday.  Time and a half, plus they feed us.  I wish, at times, that I worked Mon-Fri again, so I would get the same for the day after Thanksgiving.  This year it applies to Christmas and New Years too.

Margo - Weather has cooled down here too.  Turned the AC off two days in a row.

Joyce - How did the MRI go?  Hope good.  Downloaded 287 pictures? Sounds like my house.  I have a 2 gig card in my camera, it will hold 800 pictures.  We just printed out 290 pictures that we took over the last 4 months.  And I love the way you crunched the numbers regarding your trip.  I love to do that kind of stuff.

Brenda - How did you 1 year appointment go?  I was gonna get my hair cut, but decided to just comb it back and let it grow.  Also stopped shaving.  I'm sure glad my dogs are short haired.  Greyhound and dachshund.

Judy - Tell Rick Happy Birthday.  And behave yourself.  But if you behave yourself, he may not have a happy birthday.

Well, hope you all have a great Friday.  I know I will.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!

my news is that i got to donate last nite-given economic situations that is a good thing! my numbers were way up from just the day previous! then they told me that i had to schedule a physical and they were working on nov 7th-which would mean no donating (= no money) for a few weeks- ouch! some strings were pulled by one of the gals and i go in next thurs am...so i will use sick time maybe .....will be worth it!

then we drove about 13 miles north to melissa s' house...got to meet penelope (great dane) and the rest of her furbrood! ( and two precious granddaughters!!!!) michael had not met melissa yet so that was good too...she looks fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

so today is just work and we have that "meeting" with our super about our future...i'm praying it's ok....

then i am thinking i probly need to start cleaning -again!!!!!!!!!!!

i have some personal correspondence to try to catch up on too....

tgif is soooooo right--why is it on short weeks we can't wait for it to come?????

oh!!! we got gas at $2.68 wednesday then saw it for 2.55 yesterday.......still 2.68 is sooooo much better than it has been!!!

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Morning George and all,

A paintgun party sounds like FUN  Messy, but fun.

Clumsy old me made a mess. I was going to work in the craft room, went to put my coffee on the work table, and missed the table completely! The coffee splattered from one end of the room to the other. Lovely aroma of hazelnut but a mess. I sopped it up with a towel then decided to get out the mop. Ouchies - that hurt! The rest can wait for Tom.

I decided to get out of the house and wander thrugh A.C. Moore, my favorite craft store. In no time I was exhausted and ready for a nap. This is an indication that it is time to get out and walk more each day. Must get the strength back.

I'm up and at 'em this morning......Been on the recumbent
bike (32 min. 4.5 miles) and showered and made the bed.

Eileen, I made a pot of the german chocolate decaf coffee this morning and it's deli****hanks again for sharing.

Went shopping yesterday morning.....could NOT find a filter for my humidifier, so will have it order it on line....darn, it's $12.99 plus probably shipping. I did get one of the cute little black electric stoves to help with my heating bills this winter.....the DS came and got it out of the van and unpacked and ready to go....you can just turn it on and it looks like a real fire inside and you can also turn on the heat with fan. It was $109 marked down from
$129.

Walked down to the church yesterday afternoon - 5 blocks - and shopped at the rummage sale. Found a nice white sweater with a navy and white insert at the neckline and a turquoise light sweater (50 cents each) also bought
14 paperback books for 10 cents each, and a pretty coffee
cup and a fall crafty thing to hang up at work. On the walk back the kids were on their way home from school
and one "nasty mouthed" girl was spouting off at someone
and using the "f" word.....I gave her a dirty look and she called me "an old lady".....LOL, so what ?? I am old! Kids!

Need to fix my oatmeal now and watch the news before work. Have a blessed day all!

PS I can't figure out how to change the font and type size on here.....it used to let you do that.

Pat, when you hit reply the font and size and all is there, I use the HTML Editor #1. I'm not sure if it works for the Text one or not.

Sorry Darlene but all that comes up is HTML Editor #1 or #2. It used to allow me to change fonts and size, but that's disappeared now.

pat-ok- you see html editor 1 or 2--then under that above where you type is a B italicized I T with colors font with drop down and size with drop down--that's where you click the drop down arrow and pick a size....

?????

this is typed in "small"
if you don't have it i am sorry!!!

you need to change to the html editor in order to do it.

Good morning George and OFFers!

How about those SOX!  I can't believe they pulled off that amazing win.

We're going to the Oyster Festival at a local school this evening, hoping for some delicious charbroiled oysters for dinner.  Tomorrow will be fishing, and at some point this weekend I want to go to a movie.  What we really need is an extra weekend day!  With company coming next weekend, I need to clean house.  Well, luckily it's our daughter, SIL, and Gabe, so if the house is a little messy, they're used to it!

Have a great weekend!

Good Morning Everyone,

Things are busy here as usual.

Had a nice visit yesterday with Margo and Michael.     I think after being at my house for a while she understands why I do not get alot of posts in!!

Lexi is on the bus and on her way to school and Amanda and I are on our way to Walmart.  Gas was 2.42 in Bowling Green last night so taking the truck back this morning to fill up again.   It's been staying in the 2.40's all week.

Have a great day everyone!
