What's New Thursday?
Having some tummy issues - solids won't stay down, queasy, yukky, sitting here with my pants undone. If I didn't know better, I'd swear I was having gall bladder trouble.
Gas is just under $3.00 at all stations in the area. Wal Mart was $2.86 Tuesday night. Shell was $2.91 this morning. Wouldn't it be nice if grocery prices started going down as well. I paid $4.49 for 1/2 gallon of organic fat free milk yesterday.

Gas prices here yesterday were $2.67...today they are $2.79. Heading the wrong direction today!!!! I too hope food prices go down again. I don'ty eat as much but what I do buy is better quality and the cost is crazy!!
My cleaning fairy is here...everything is smelling so clean and fresh. She is almost done with the laundry. Good to go for another week.
My nephew was here last night working on my computer. I had a virus or 5...he got that all cleaned up. Even with a firewall and virus protectoion those darn viruses sneak through!! My computer is like new now....sure is alot faster now!!
I need to box up the Halloween treats and things today and get those packages mailed to my granchildren. Halloween is one of my favorite holidays!!
I need to get back to work....have a terrific day everyone!!

It's early (6:08 a.m.) and I'm at my favorite spot spending a little time with you before going to work. As usual, the morning is dawning in a different way.....it is always different and beautiful. This morning everything is PINK! I think they are burning cane somewhere on the island and in the very early light, the smoke is turning the sky and ocean pink!
I'm feeling grateful this morning for WLS, for my OFF sisters and brothers, and for life in general. Since going back to work, I find myself doing things I could not dream of doing two years ago.....like crawling under desks to connect computers, and running around all day on my feet, and forgetting to sit gently in chairs like I used to for fear I'd break them. Now I plop!! Now I pop up! Now I sit on the floor effortlessly. These are MIRACLES!! I am thankful.
Good news came yesterday in a call from Kaiser telling me that my surgery in Dec. will be completely covered......all except for any meds after my hospital stay. What I'm having (I just found out) is a panniculectomy.......a hipbone to hipbone cut that will remove skin, but will not tighten muscles, so it seems like the recovery will be easier than the full deal where they go in a stitch up stuff on the inside. At least, that's what I'm hoping. Has anyone here had the panniculectomy?
Our economy is going nuts!! I feel so sorry for so many losing their jobs, their homes, their lives in this mess. The stock market just seems to be eating peoples' life long savings.....it is tragic. Unfortunately I'm one of them.
Time for a shower, and off to my part-time job. I am THANKFUL to have this job and wonder how I got along without it for so long.

Yeah, they announced they're closing a GM plant around here on Monday ... more bad news for the area.
Glad to hear about your surgery, though. I have heard about that type of surgery ... it's the only thing I would have been covered for, too, had I decided to have plastics instead of a knee replacement.

well i have been busy today on my day off...got my car looked at and found NOTHING wrong with it!!! just some leaves that were stuck in the air thingy....wooohoooo so the check engine light is off now and i got the title changed to ohio and then took it to have it E-checked and it passed!!!! now all i need to do is get the ohio plates and my drivers license changed!!! so that will be next tuesday that this gets done!!! then i am a full ohioan!!! i can't wait!!!!
posted my news to share on another post earlier..also i posted about my 2 years out for tomorrow on another post...can't believe 2 years have gone by already and i am a happier healthier woman because of it!!!! life is good!!!!!!!!
its a chilly day here in willoughby ohio thats for sure!! had rain last night and drizzle this morning...brrrr
gas is about $2.48 in a couple places and wish i had money today to get some!!! oh well tomorrow will be here soon enough!!!
not much else happening here today...got the gifts wrapped to tease rick with when he gets home from work....LOL bring the cake home tomorrow after work and then we change for our dinner out to celebrate birthday and then come back for cake and who knows what else might POP UP???? rofl
