It is WEDNESDAY - What's new with you?

Good morning all.  Not so good really.  One of the ladies on the Texas Message Board lost her brother yesterday.  He had RNY, then had problems.  It is something that I know I took for granted.  That made the rest of the day seem less important.

Nancy - We are glad when you do post, but understand when you don't.  Where will your poems be published?

Annette - Quick look up!  Is that black cloud still over your head?  What a couple days you have had!!!  Take a deep breath, IT WILL get better.

Margo - Sorry about the job.  There is another opportunity out there that will present itself.

Vera - I can surely relate to the too much stuff in too little house thing.  We have been selling stuff at discounted garage sale rates just to get rid of it.  Mary has been selling Christmas wreaths for $10 or so.  Most of them have $18-20 of material in them.

Jeane - That belt may be too small now, but give it a few months and it will be too big.  Trust me.

Have a great day folks.  Let's make the most of it.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!

Morning all,

George ~ I looked up, and there is a pretty moon peeking in my window.  If you didn't tell me to look up, I would have missed it. Thanks.

When a support group member has their surgery,  I like to give them one of the piggy banks I paint with the instructions : put in one dollar for every pound you lose. At the end of a year, go on a shopping spree. I take the bank to the hospital the day after surgery.

Our surgeon seems to have increased the number of surgeries lately. I have been working hard to complete enough for each person. Good thing I am not working right now.

That is such a neat idea!  They must love you when they go on that shopping spree.

Hi George and Everyone,

It's so good to see you here with your re-cap, George.  Thank you for doing that.  I'm very sorry about the lady who lost her brother.  We downsized a few years ago and I remember "giving" things away at garage sales.  I'm very glad now to not have alot of stuff but it was alot of work doing it.

Annette - LOVE the idea of the piggy bank!  You're amazing.

Today is flu shot day for hubby and me.  The fires and getting worse here in So. California.  At least the winds have died down somewhat for us where we live.  It sure plays havoc with the allergies.  Still very busy at work with the special project.  Should be finished next week I hope.  Problem is this special project will now be required every October.  Ugh.

I finished the last of the crochet baby blanket for a baby shower gift.  Between the needlework and the special project at work my fingers are a bit stiff.  Not good getting old.

That's absolutely the highlight to all that is going on for me these days!  I think that's a good thing to have a little "ho hum" for a while.  Take care and have a great Wednesday.

Good morning all.......
Well, I can't get the Armour Thyroid.....all the pharmacies
in town say it's been on backorder for six months ....don't know why, but guess I am stuck with Synthroid. Looked at the directions for taking it and noticed it says to drink a full glass of water, so I am trying that.

Back on the bike this morning for 31 minutes and 4.3 miles
....it actually felt really good....just need to do it every day
now and start using the weights again too.

Was sick all afternoon yesterday from eating something
with a lot of sugar in it....so I paid for it big time....won't do that again...will I never learn?

Had my flu shot at the Dr's yesterday and he wants to
do an endoscopy in November to check on my Barrett's.
I trust him to do it and reminded him that I only have a
small pouch, and he's on board with that...checked my
blood sugar this morning and it was 103....great!

Need to get some good protein breakfast now so have
a wonderful day everyone.

Pat

Pat,  since Armour Thyroid has both T3 and T4 in it, have you considered using Syntheroid (T4) and Cytomel (T3)?  I switched from Armour to this combination so I could get better regulated.  It's worth a thought.

Enjoy the day!
