surgery date november 12th!!!! wowza

Well friends,  after months and months of waiting my time is finally upon me.  I am very interested in any advise that is out there to prepare for my rny.  I know the drill and what i will need to do but it is time for a few friendly prayers here.  

I have to admit to a case of last supper"itis.."  i was a bit insistent that my hubby and mom join me for a turkey dinner tonight...my bad...or maybe just a bit of last ditch defiance...all in all I feel pretty good and ready to get on with it. 
I keep looking at the before and afters and that is such a great incentive....How about a new lease on life at 51!!!! woo hoo lets go....

I am a bit giddy tonight..maybe I need to give in to the night and sleeeeep now...love to all you great inspiring friends...YOU ROCK!!!!

congrats on your date!!! it will be here faster than you think!! keep a positive head and be calm and things will go even smoother for you and your dr...remember to pack your chap stick....start practicing for later on how to drink and eat...the last supper deal hits everyone it seems...i went on an eating binge on all the foods i knew i would never be able to eat again...wishing you the best of luck and hope you keep coming here for the love and support of everyone....

And your date is???? If very soon then "Oh Happy DAy!" as the song says. Let the journey begin. I love following the new people to this forum. It's a good reminder of how far I have come and of all the good in my life that wasn't here healthwise in 2004!

Duh! Oops. I guess I read too fast! Congratulations on Nov 12. A wonderful early Thanksgiving for you. I had a prime rib last supper complete with the works and totally enjoyed the whole thing.  It's not like "forever" for healthy foods. It will be a while, but that's ok. It's so worth it!
