morning!
i haven't had time to have anything new but wanted to say that i am still waiting on the word about the job/career...and i am getting worried that it will not be mine after all..i know the gal is busy and i am praying she was just too wrapped up in life and business to make the call yesterday!!!! after being off since wednesday, it is very hard to get excited about going to work this morning at the job i have but don't like...however--they pay me and i am grateful for that!! so off to work i go after we feed and medicate chico!!!

Pumpkin Patch sounds like tons of fun.  Pumpkin Patches here in Southern California are merely a vacant lot and not much fun.  I've never had a McRib but have seen them....... I remember my dad liked them alot when they first were introduced.

Hubby's doctor's appt was fine yesterday.  Put him on an antibiotic to see if it would help with the cough he developed about a week ago.  Precautionary more than anything else.

Back to work today for me.  It's nice to have a short week except busier.

Hi George and all.

Appt. went well. Even though I haven't been able to stay at 126, I weighed in at 128.5 and the doc said I was at 97% and he considered me at goal and said my body comp was perfect. So...good deal. He also said and I think this is pretty funny...that "you may be exercising too much." Oh darn, gee, that will be sooooo hard to cut back a little. I have never in my life been told that! But hey! I have no problem cutting back a bit.
I will say more later, but I'm running late...

margo hope your bird is getting better!!! any ideas on what i can give the ****atiel for treats?? veggies?? fruit?? not sure if they can have any or not...and if they can what ones....

the pictures of all the ones that went to frankenmuth made me even more sad i couldn't attend!!!! oh well maybe next time....

friday is my 2 year surgiversary and is also ricks birthday...strange huh...but we think its cool....LOL told rick i got him his birthday gift and he said he would look for it so he would know what it is...roflol i told him it wasn't in the apartment....he said oh its in the car huh...i said yes and you can't use my keys...lol sooooo he has to wait til friday night....hahahaa

its nice and warm here today yet...cloudy and breezy looking for rain late tonight and tomorrow morning i guess...then it gets chilly again...grrrr leaves are falling and changing colors...looking out the bedroom window now and i see a range of colors...reds, oranges, yellows and still some green....very pretty!!!! wish i could find my digital camera so i could take some pictures!!!! several boxes remain untouched so i am sure its in one of them!!!! sighs...

my friend erie from work is coming over tomorrow night to hook up my computer....still waiting for someone to pick up the snowblower so we can get it out of the storage unit...i am sure the woman is gonna charge me rent on it being this long in getting it out!!! ****** me off the people that want the blower can't get it themselves!!!! grrrrrrrrr about ready to give it away just so its out of there!!!!

well the cleveland browns sure upset the new york giants last night!!!! WOW!!!!! no i am not a fan of the browns or any other football team...lol not sure of any sports...love nascar though!!!! LOL

Good Morning George and all my OFF Family,

I sure did wish I could have been in Frankenmuth with the group.  It looked like everyone had a good time.

I am working hard and sometimes it sure feels like I am spinning my wheels!  Real Estate is soooooo slooooowwwww!!!  I need a pay check!!  If something doesn't give soon I may have to find a 9-5 job again, which will really put a kink in taking care of mom and her drs appts.  Oh well we must do what we must!  Praying for a financial blessing here! 

DH and I have been trying to do a bit of downsizing. We moved into a smaller house a few years back and still have too much stuff!!!  We are both pack rats and want to save everything.  I told him he needed to build us a barn that was twice as big as the house just to store the stuff we can't bear to part with in.  LOL  Slowly but surely it is going away.  Trying to get stuff marked for a garage sale soon!

I am trying to increase my exersice but it is hard.  I do better when I feel like I am accomplishing something like clearing off the porch or stuff and Iknow that is more movement that I have been able to do in a long time, but it just doesn't seem to be enough as I am still just sitting there at the same spot on the scales, however the inches lost seem to be increasing so that is a good thing.  I have lost a total of 22 inches. So I am trying not to stress over the pounds!!!  Easier said than done.

Hi George and my OFF family:

The first couple times I tried to get on the board, I got an error message that said the server was too busy. Too busy? You guys are posting too much! Finally got on it, though.

It was nice having yesterday off ... I wasn't feeling too good for some reason. I ate an apple in the afternoon and that seemed to upset my tummy. Apples never bothered me before, but that's the only thing I can think of. Later in the evening, I felt better and had dinner (about 8 p.m.), a Stouffer's flatbread pizza (chicken and spinach) and felt OK when I went to bed after the Dodgers-Phillies game. But this morning, it's back ... I think it's all out of me now, though (I hope).

We had some rain overnight ... had the windows open and had to close them during the night. It's beautiful today, though. I have an appointment with the rehab doc at 3:30 before I go to work. Got to pick up things before I leave because the cleaning lady comes in, and if I don't pick things up and put them away, she either throws them away or hides them, and I'll never find them again.

Well, I have some things to do online before I go to work ... got to enroll for insurance, for one, although I can do that at work. Have a good day. Margo, I hope you hear something today ... hope Chico is better too.

No this will be the first time for Armour thyroid....I have
taken regular natural thyroid for many, many years, but it is no longer available, so Doc put me on the synthroid....it
has not worked good for me. Today he agreed to let me
try the Armour for three months and see how it goes.

I guess I am "honest" to a fault!! LOL They are to let me know about my paycheck tomorrow.....they actually paid me for 38 hrs that I DIDN'T work.....I would never let that big of a mistake go by.
