I cant get enough dense protein in to make up any decent amount of protein and since we should be having around 90 grams a day i do 3 of them a day.
the first one i mix a scoop of powder and a half scoop of splenda in just enough ho****er out of the tap to blend it up then add coffee(decaff) and sugar free french vanilla coffee creamer.
the other two a day i make into smoothies in blender, Lactaid milk, strawberry flavored water equal amounts, e nough frozen strawberries to make it thick and splenda to taste. after blended i add my scoop of protein powder and just barely zap it enough to blend it in , if you beat it too much it will foam......then i use a straw to drink it (i always have doesnt kill you) and it is yummmy.....you can use what ever frozen fruit and flavored water you want....what ever suits your fancy lol ....you cant make a bad one with ON i have tried i think everyone out there and this is by far the very best in my book....

RaeAnn,
Looks like you just "jumped in " to me! You are posted. . . .I'll give you a sample of my protein powder to try. I ordered about 10 samples from Vitalady.com to try AFTER I had surgery.
Believe me and others when we say that your taste buds will change big time. Things that I liked before surgery tasted too sweet, too sour, yucky, etc after. Some former tastes returned after a few months others still don't taste "right." So order some samples to try but wait until after surgery to try them. I don't think I started on protein drinks for about two weeks after surgery. Each doctor is different. I ordered sample from Vitalady.com but I order regularly from allstarhealth.com It is the best price that I have found and the shipping is the same whether you order one or two 5 lb containers. 5 lb makes about 70 servings.
