HOW MUCH WATER AT ONCE

Hello,
I am able to drink maybe four to six swallows of water at once, and then a minute or so later some more water,  IS THIS DRINKING TO MUCH AND FAST AT ONCE OR WHAT?  I fear that I have really made my pouch bigger and this scares me.
I am able to eat maybe about a cup of whatever at a time and I stop myself from there.  I do not get that full feeling, I just hiccup and I know that it is time to stop, I chew my food til it is liquid before swallowing.  I have lost 118lbs and I stay around 140 to 145 worth of poundage.  I would do this RYN again in a heart beat.  Could someone please give me your comments on this.
Thank you

CHRISY

Chrisy,
I can take 3 swallows at once with a smll pause until the next drink- have never dared push beyond that. If you can take six without discomfort, it is probably okay. Have you actually measured to see how much you take in the 6 swallows? It may be less than you think.

One cup per meal is about how I measure food. Even after 2 years, I still measure. I don't get the "old" full feeling. The new one is hard to explain. But I know that one more bite will be too many, even after measuring out a cup.

Chewing well has become more natural. A baby spoon and shrimp ****tail fork helps me take smaller bites. My husband still reminds me to slow down but so far I haven't had issues.

You have done well, the weight is being maintained, good for you.

Annette,

I can eat about a cup and a half..... comfortably most of the time.

I drink a tall coffee in a grande cup...most of the time....

I'm sure that's why I've not lost all of my weight.  I've maintained for 2 1/2 years but never got that little person....

Janet,

Yum to coffee - my HUGE addiction. I drink it all day and will have a cup if I wake up in the middle of the night. I use SF or FF Coffeemate which adds calories. We don't have to give up everything do we?

I have seen you in person - you are not very big Sweety. 100% perfection.

We all seem to have some vague idea how we are supposed to look. For some reason, I think I am tall. At 5'2", I may not be quite correct.

Are you all set for your surgery? To me, that is a giant leap out of the box. Good for you.

Kisses

Annette,

I am still set for surgery...this will be a busy week.  I'm doing laundry today....and hanging up stuff... will work on the bedroom shortly and get everything out that I can trip over....

Pretty much got the kitchen stocked.  I pay for the surgery this week.  I hate to part with $6k but I guess I'll have to.

I'm set at work for the time off....told them 4 weeks...have an idea it will be closer to six but didn't want to set myself up for losing my portfolio.

Wondering what type of clothes I need to shop for as I won't be wearing anything but comfy for a few weeks.   Maybe those that have gone before me will tell me what I need to be getting.

I bought the new Janet Evanovich book but won't start it until I'm home from surgery.... I need something to read.

I've bought some Christmas.  In keeping with the WLS theme........ I'm buying food stuff for everyone.....great cookbooks..... a 1910 waffle iron..... WS waffle mixes..... Mickey Mouse chef's hat, mitt and apron for BIL.  A bottle of ***** wine for my sister...hope she has a sense of humor.

And as far as 'small'.  I still wear size 16's.... and I weigh in the 150's... I hate that part.

That's it for me today.  I didn't post on the What's New.....

Oh Janet, that is my dream, to someday wear a size 16 again.......not much I can do about it now as my body is so out of portion thanks to my tummy tuck......wishing you good luck on your plastics...
