B- Eggs with Cheddar Cheese L- Italian Meat balls and Cottage Cheese D- Broiled pork chop and Zucchini S- Apple and Peanut butter.
I miss you guys. I hope we all remember that WLS is a tool, and it can not be taken for granted,we can still sabotage ourselves, especially if we do not come to terms with the destorted way we "used" food.

H-E-L-L-O, Sweet Linda!

I want what you are having today!  I had Eggs and Cheddar Cheese yesterday morning.  Hubby was hungry and wanted a big breakfast.  Only way to do that is with a menu.  My standby is to order 1 egg scrambled with cheddar cheese on it.   I have Zuccini here today so Zuccini it is sometime today!

Too early for me to know what I'm having besides my AchieveOne to start.

Love and hugs throughout your day today!

Linda,

I'm feeling a little more cheerful today.  One of my OH friends suggested that I look into a group home for the elderly for my mom instead of the assisted living facility.  I know someone who works as a social worker at our local hospital and might be able to tell me if such places exist in my area.  I'm going to call her first thing tomorrow.

B:  1 packet weight control oatmeal w/ 2/3 c. skim milk, 1/2 c. peaches
S:  protein bar
L:  2 oz salmon, 2 oz green beans
S: 1 oz cheddar cheese
D:  1 cup cassoulet, 1/2 c. turnip greens
S: 4 oz SF pudding

Hello everyone.  I know all about sabotaging yourself.  I have been doing it for a while.  I find myself eating what I used to eat (junk) only in smaller portions and when I'm emotionally out of balance.  Haven't lost anything in almost a year.  I'm finding it so difficult to get back on track.  I haven't gained any weight back but I'm sure I will if I keep it up.

Jean - I feel so very sorry for you trying to deal with this situation with your mother.  Both my parents passed away 10 years ago (a week apart) so I don't have any experience dealing with this sort of thing and cannot offer any advice except to enlist the help of anyone who might have other alternatives for you. The hospital social worker should be able to help or at least refer you to someone else who can.  Good luck with it and be sure to keep us posted.

Hey Barb, I think you are on the right track, hanging out here. Sometimes getting the feelings out is what we need,in place of stuffing down the emotions.
These people care, sometimes getting on the right track for me means getting outside of myself, getting invloved with others.
Hope your day is great!

Thank you Linda.  You're such a dear, kind person; always taking the time to respond to people.  I'm trying to hang in there. Everyday is a new beginning.

SMILE - meatballs on your menu. That is usually a sign that you are feeling more chipper Linda.

Tom bought me 4 honey crisp apples. He paid $11.00 for them - kind of expensive. They are enormous, one is too much for me to eat, 1/2 is pushing the limit, so Tom has to share.
