IT'S SUNDAY - 10/12 - What's new with you???

Good Morning from North Dakota.  As I sit here typing I can look out my window and watch the snow coming down very hard.  The storm that was in Wyoming and Eastern Montana finally arrived in our part of the state around midnight last night and has not let up a bit.  YUCK!!!  This is waaay too early for snow!!  We usually have mild winters here and alot of the trees haven't even turned color yet.
I am fixing spaghetti with meat sauce, garlic bread and tossed salad with Italian dressing for dinner for hubby and I tonight.  I love pasta and bread and decided I best get some of that in before I have to start my 1 month pre-surgery diet on the 22nd of October in preparation for Lap RnY Nov. 19th.
I hope all my friends at OFF are having a wonderful weekend and even better NEXT WEEK!!

Sandy since you like pasta so much there is one called  Dream Fields that is way low in Carbs...sure you cant eat a lot of it but you can get the taste of pasta with meat sauce or you might try what i do and eat Spag Squash with meat sauce on it ...way better than pasta which after all is just flour and water .......have to get the mind re set to eating to live instead of liveing to eat...

Well, I hate to spoil the day for those of you who are cold, but here I sit with the windows open and a wonderful breeze blowing through. Temperature is around 71 degrees and the sun is shinning.  Southeastern North Carolina at it's finest.

Went to church and taught my 3rd and 4th graders their Sunday School lesson.  Came home and cooked a pot of black bean soup. Delish.

Going to lazy away most of the afternoon today.  May get up the energy to go get a bit of exercise.  Then again maybe not!! LOL  I sure need some motivation today!

I am sore and tired from canning on Friday and cleaning yesterday.  I got 17 pints of field peas, then put up 6 qts and 5 pints of Chili, and the day before that I put up 7 qts and 5 pints of homemade spagetti sauce.  Should have enough to last a few months.

Ya'll have a wonderful day.

Good Sunday one and all!

I'm trying really hard to make today a lazy day. Gary cleaned the house while I grocery shopped, now all I have is to finish the laundry. The kids are coming for dinner and the Charger game. We don't get to see them often now that we're in AR, so the world comes to a screeching halt when they're on TV.

Tough week at work. Between Friday and Saturday I lost $300 in no-shows and a cancellation. The one girl had car trouble, but the other two were scheduled for big color jobs and probably couldn't part with the money. Of course, now I have less money to part with, and so goes the economy!!!  Lots of work scheduled for the upcoming week, hopefully they'll all make it and all will be well with the world.

Not much else going on. We're still waiting on our graphic artist to finish the labels for our products. We hired this guy because the last person wasn't getting the job done quickly enough, now we're going on three weeks with this one!!!  AGHHHHHHHHHH  Oh well.  Reason for everything, right?

Hugs and prayers to all. Can't wait to hear from the Girl's weekend.

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.
