i just had breakfast was hungry today

i had a lowfat waffle with peanut butter and ns jelly.

then i was still looking so i had a small banana.

i think its gonna be clean the frig out today, i have leftover from the last few days cause hubby and i ate out and i have lots of little things left.

the good news is they are all good things, some chili, half of a small salad, stuff like that

so i should be good if that darn temptations stays out of my way

i think i will do a protein shake at some point , ive been adding them back to my food intake, and it seems to be working well for me

hugs, be safe and well, jacki

Arrgh - Tom is doing the best he can but geeze, he doesn't see those things that bug me. Spattered stove top, crumbs on the counter, spots and stains on the coffee maker, toothpaste in the bathroom sick - none are that bad, except to ME. UGH!

My stamina is gone, it still hurts to do those chores and I honestly don't want to be critical. Instead I vent here.

I think I got overly tired with the doctor visit then trip to the bank yesterday. Maybe I need to go take a nap and get up on the other side of the bed.

The poor man headed to the grocery store for some peace and quiet.

OMG Annette......I can so identify!!  I fell and shattered my knee 4 years ago and was laid up for 2 1/2 months at home.  My hubby took such good care of me and tried his best but I know what you mean about seeing all these little things that husbands are blind to and don't have a clue.  I hobbled around on my crutches to try clean up these "little things" but got so exhausted.  These "little things" can almost drive you crazy!!  Funny how we take things for granted until we are not able to do them.  It made me appreciate being able to walk again.

Thank you Sandy,

I thought I was being too critical when he is trying soooo hard.

Hello Sweet Linda,

I've been so busy I haven't had much time to plan food and post it here.  I've checked on you each day though.  I always look forward to hearing what you are doing.  Hugs dear lady.

I'm in a rut and not taking time to be careful what I eat.  That changes today.  I haven't lost an ounce in two or three weeks so I'm going to take the time for me!  I must get more exercise in, too.  No excuse either now that the weather is cooperating.

Take care of yourself and remember some balance in your life.

Linda,

I had a chat yesterdy with the administrator of Mom's current assisted living facility about moving her to the cut-rate facility.  He was very distressed about it and a for a minute there I thought he might offer me a lower rate to leave her at his place, but when I told him how much the cut-rate place is charging, there was a long pause before he said, "Oh."

One of my OH friends gave me some comfort by saying that the new facility may turn out to be a good place for Mom, for reasons I can't predict now.

Have a great day!
