Had my 3 month post op surgery check up today.
Down to 258 that is 95 lbs since I started lossing weight and 41 points since surgery.
They were happy with the weight loss, I am not. I think it should be more, but I talked to the nut who comes to the appointments and she feels I am eating the right things but to cut the shakes to 1 a day. UMMMM we will see.

I am off all my meds but bladder control medicine and my blood tests looked great he said
My A1C prior to surgery was 7.2 now 5.6 so no more diabetes.

Now for the best NSV ~~~~ I got the job!!!

In Dec 2004 I had a stroke and have not worked since then. This is a part time temp job (for the holidays) 6 blocks from my house at the incoming call center. So I can walk to work. I start 10/20 I would never have been able to do this if I had not lost the 100# (almost) I have.

Life is GREAT!!!

What a great check up!  You have done very well!  Just keep plugging in and you will see more results.  Congrats on the job.  There will be many more life changing things happening to you now that you will be getting healthier.  With increased weight loss comes more movement, more movement brings more activities and attempting more things now that may have been physically impossible or at least uncomfortable before WLS.

Yahoo you are doing great!

It is His love and grace that saved and sustains me.
