OT - TV "Life on Mars" debuted last night

What fun! Some of us on this forum will remember the 1970's, I sure do. The gist of this "cop" series is a detective who is injured in 2008 and wakes up in 1973. The clothes, cars, attitudes and music are a trip down memory lane. How far we've come in attitudes regarding women - blatantly sexist remarks but laughable. A totally politically incorrect police captain who would be in jail in 2008 for his actions takes charge in a very direct way. The poor 2008 cop is totally out of his element (of course) and can't believe the conditions in 1973. It was on last night, Thursday at 10 pm PDT.

We need a giggle with this financial mess around us. Loved the music, leisure suits, hippies, long hair, beards, sweeping mustaches and the one female, lady-like cop who dressed in a suited uniform.
