What's new Wednesday?!!!?

Prayers for a safe journey for you and Brenda.....so looking forward to spending time with you folks and all my OFF
sisters and brothers.

Hear the church bell ringing for Chapel service at my
church (which is just four blocks away)....we have a school for preschool kids thru 8th grade and currently have an attendance of around 170 total.

One more day of work, had three "huge" stacks of pd files waiting for me when I got back on Monday and have managed to get one whole stack done in two days time.
Problem is, more files come in everyday.....oh well, job
security.

Annette,  I'm so glad your recovery is progressing.  The changing season and your and Vera's cooking has me thinking about making soups and stews.  I'm gonna hold off until after surgery though as you have all warned that my tastes will change.

Have a great holiday, George, at the fair and ballgame.  You deserve a rest.

Carla,  What's happening in Chicago?  Is it a business or pleasure trip?  Someone told me recently that the two recession proof jobs are grocery clerk and hairdresser.  Hang in there.

Margo and Floyd,  I'm feeling good vibes that your employment situations will result in the highest good for all involved.

Seems that the Universe continues to bless me.  The auditors are taking a day off, allowing  time to complete the September financial statements for the board meeting packets that must go out this week. 

I'm looking forward to happy hour at the grand opening of a new lounge with my friend, Gil.  Free drinks and appetizers so I'll have to be careful.

Good Morning Vera and all,

I am going in for lab work this am, want to have all my info ready for my yearly and final check in with my surgeon for next Monday. I am looking forward as I know this time I will have built up muscle as compared to the last time I saw him. He told me if I hadn't started building muscle he would be having me eat and exercise more so I went ahead and did just that and above my bat wings I now have some muscles! So I think he will be surprised.

Tom and I watched the debate and I had to walk extra on my treadmill to make up for the wine I needed while watching! I ended up doing 1 1/2 hours yesterday.

I am also switching to a protein shake for my breakfasts the rest of this week...I need to switch things up a bit.

Annette, glad to see you are on the mend. I hope the swelling starts going down...did they say why you are susceptible to those nasty hernias or are you just lucky that way?

Good morning Vera and Friends, Stil having keyboard problems. Decided to just let you "read through" the problem. Keyboard won't type double leters for some reason. I'm tired of going back and ading them or typing realy slow. I have faith in you!

Yesterday was suposed to be so busy at the house. Wel. . . the wind was blowing about 50 mph (no kiding) so there was so much dirt blowing around that backfiling, concrete work, painting were are postponed. Lots of inside finish work going on, but very litle from the plumber. I was expecting fixture instalation, love those working indor pots! Sems toilets are not coming in til Thursday. Delays, delays, delays!

Just had Magie out for her early AM walk. Stil dark here, but her litle bladar couldn't wait. Fels a bit on the frosty side out there. Hope people have brought in their gren tomatoes. We always bring them into the garage or a shed, hang the whole plant up upside down and let them  ripen that way. Every bit as god as what you buy in the store.

I watched the debates to. Neither candidate overly impresed me. I hate the negativity that sems to come with this time in the campaign. Instead of cuting each other down tel me clearly what YOU plan to do with this mes we are in! I'm just not very political. I'm glad someone is wiling to try to run this great land of ours, and I don't have any solutions. Sure hope one of these men is prepared when the time comes.

Off of my box and into the shower. Hope you can navigate around my "mouse" problems. Wil try a new keyboard. Hope the solution is that simple.

LOL!  Between the foreign accents, including some Gawd awful Southern drawls and hispanic, and the doctors' penmanships, I'm surprised I'm not blind and deaf or completely looney.
