Tell me how

Ok all you smarties,  how do I transfer a picture to this site that I received in an email???

Okee dokee.... you really wont believe how complicated this is... because the software they use is so bad....

Anyway....

I hope you can follow this... I will do my best...

Towards the top of the page you will see Home, MY OH, photos, etc.... click on MY OH

Now look to the right of your avatar and click on My Photos

If you don't have an album, create one

Upload the photo you want by browsing your computer

After you unload the photo, scroll through your existing photos (if any) and click on the photo you want to share

After your photo shows up, scroll down and find where it says "Copy and Paste" and "Link to this Photo" ... it  begins with
Here's where it gets even weirder....

You have to post, then go and EDIT the post and use the little "handles" on the photo to drag it to the size where it fits on the post.

If it doesn't fit, EDIT again and click and drag it even smaller until it does fit...

Barbara,    this is good info here, I hope it helps.   If trying to do this makes you want to eat pumpkin pie & wa**** down with beer, you could forward the email to me (jan.ron.smith@hotmail) and I will post it for you.   

Skip the pumpkin pie I just want lots of beer.   I will try to follow Marc's instructions.  If I still can't get it I'll forward the emails to one of you.  These really are pretty funny.

I give up.  I seem to be able to maneuver through this website but cannot get the pics to upload.  Shall I email them to you and have you do it for me.  Gee after all this, they just don't seem so funny anymore.  Maybe I should seriously consider the beer and take another look at them.  I need an email address so I can forward them.

Hi Barbara

You have to save the graphic to your hard drive before you can upload it.  To do this you can do the following:

Right click on the photo and select "save picture as" and then select the location you want the picture to be saved in.  I usually do it to my desktop first so I can find it easily.You'll have to name the picture too when you save it.

If you cannot right click on the attachment, open the picture, then click 'file' then 'save as' and save it to your desktop.

Then follow the other instructions here to upload it. 

That should do it!

When you saved the pics where did you save them to?  Did you save the whole email or copy the pic and paste it somewhere?  Thank you so much for doing it.  I'm usually not this dense.

Right click on the picture.... choose "Save as" and save the picture as a ".jpg" or a ".jpeg" .... these are the file types, and the .jpg goes at the end of the file name, for example "MarcNekkid.jpg"

When you name and save the picture, make sure you note where on your computer you saved it so you can find it easily when you go to upload it to this site... easiest just to save it to the Desktop ....

Well there you go Marc.  I was only able to save it as BMP.  I knew I had to save it as jpg but I did not have that option.  I don't know.  It's all so confusing.

Your computer came with "Paint" ... it is under Start/All Programs/Accessories ...

Open your pic using Paint and then Save As and name the pic then choose from the drop down menu ".jpeg"
