28 More Days and Now I am REALLY Scared! TOO OLD??
You are not too old. I had my surgery on 9/22 and turned 60 on 10/4. I feel great and I am getting younger every day! Don't worry! I have confidence that everything will go well for you and that you will be back in your college class before you know it.

I had surgery 7 days ago. I'm 58 years old and did just fine. I was very apprehensive about surgery and my age also. It's normal. If you have a good surgeon, you'll be fine. I never had any thoughts other than I'm still happy I started this journey. The surgery will mean longer life and better quality of life at this stage. You will be fine and wonder why you were scared. I am clapping for your decision to have te surgery and a healthier you.Cookie
