Carbs
Hello everyone. I don't post much but I do enjoy reading everyones comments.
Hi Jean, sorry to hear you're having problems with your mother's living arrangements. I know nothing about that sort of thing so I'm sorry I can't offer any advice. Glad you had a good time at the conference, would like to hear more about it.
My question to you all is approximately how many carbs per day do you consume and still maintain some level of weight loss? I have not lost any weight in a very long time but most of that is due to my eating habits gone astray. I am now trying to keep track of all I eat on fit day and it's amazing how fast the carbs add up. I think it will help me to get back on track just being able to SEE the numbers (calories, carbs, protein, etc.).

yup tracking is your friend, especially if you think you want to cut those carbs
just remember, there are good carbs and bad, like fruit as opposed to cookies, ha ha
i have recently tried to really cut carbs and have gone back to some protein shakes every week, as im trying to shake my body up and drop a few pounds.
its a constant battle, but im making progress, i think i am at least
good luck, jacki

Thanks Jacki. I have been using fitday.com for the past week and it really seems to help. I just can't believe how many carbs I was eating without realizing it. I never stopped drinking the protein shakes as it is the only way I can get enough protein. I don't do real well with meat so the shakes really help. I use Unjury and mix it with coffee and a little milk. I will weigh myself again this weekend and hopefully the scale will move in the right direction. Good luck to you also. This is a lifelong journey for sure.
