GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!
Good morning!
Well, to answer your question, I'M up! My left shoulder is bothering me (torn rotator) and my husband is snoring, plus we have one heavy cat sleeping on us off and on all nite, so I just had to get up for a while.
Yesterday was cold and nasty, even tho it was supposed to be autumn sun. We went out to the bookstore briefly, and when we got home, I built a nice blazer in the fireplace and camped out all day....along with the heat glomming cats.
Nothing too exciting planned for today. I need to run to the bank, and I plan to take a walk around the lake if it's nice out. And I'm gonna try try try to get my food in today. I am totally not hungry. I think about how it's time to eat, I've only had 70 calories so far today, I need to eat something, but I am not hungry, and the thought of eating makes me sick. When I eat, no issues, things go down and stay down, I'm just not hungry. I meet with my nutritionist tomrorrow tho and will discuss with her then.
Anyway, that's it...can't hear snoring from the other room right now, maybe I can get some sleep until the alarm goes off in 2 hrs. Have a great Monday all!

When you get older, you realize it's a lot less about your place in the world but your place in you. It's not how everyone views you, but how you view yourself. - Natalie Portman
i'm up and trying to motivate self...hurt somethig in my back last nite with all of the cleaning and moving etc...a positive is that he computer is hooked up properly and duste doff and working! it took longer than it should have- the desk was bigger than i remembered and we had to take a door off to get it into the bedroom due to te narrow hallway...and one hugamungous plant now resides in the kitchen-goodness- i knew it was big just not as big as it is!!!!!!!!!
i don't care for the computer being in here- maybe i'll like it better in the winter months but for now it's odd....i feel so far away from everything and everyone !

Well, it's back to the job this morning....a co-worker called me last Thursday to let me know how bad my work had
piled up while I was gone for 2 wks.....I really didn't need to hear that, but it was nice of her to call.....I think she missed me....LOL.
I am working Mon., Tues, and Wed., this week, then off
to Ohio to pick up Margo and head up to Frankenmuth early Thursday morning.
The weather looks good for the GTG, and it sounds like
the little town of Frankenmuth will be packed....there is a festival going on that weekend and since it's close to
Ocktober Fest, there will be tons of people up there. The color here in Michigan is just starting..
Our Book Club had a great discussion on "A Tree Grows in
Brooklyn" last evening....everyone loved the book. We are going as a group to see the new movie "The Secret Lives
of Bees" when it comes out later this month.....it was a book we read a while back. I've tried to get the DVD for
A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, but Netflix put my request in a
"saved" file....at least they didn't say it wasn't available, so I am hoping they can get it.
Need to get around for breakfast and then get ready for
work.....will check new posts later on. Have a blessed day.

Done! Your Ticker:
I read A Tree Grows in Brooklyn as a young girl. The story was heart-wrenching and very close to home in my Irish Catholic family, but what a wonderful read it was. I saw the movie, too, which was good, but not as good as the book.
I took the book out of the library a few years ago just to read it again.

These furbrats are getting obnoxious. The socks had to go. I left a pair on the bed so Tony can suck on them without tickling my feet. During the night, Joey decided to groom me. Ever have a cat lick your hair and ears? Causes major goosebumps.
Tom has been vigilant about my fluid intake. He said it was self preservation because he doesn't want to deal with taking me to the ER for dehydration. Me neither. So I drink, walk, sleep and potty. Good exercise.
No showers were allowed until yesterday. That was heavenly. I only missed a shower on Saturday but it felt like forever.
The incisions look good, no reddness or seepage. They don't even hurt. Oh how swollen the belly. That should go away soon.
My appetite is gone but Tom keeps feeding me good stuff. He's a good cook and knows what I need each day. Cottage cheese, fruit and Ka****astes best.
Since I can't sit for more than 30 minutes at a time, answering all your messages is tough. Thanks to all.
Annette
It's good for you to drink, so keep it up!
