Thanks for all of Your Birthday Wishes!

I just want to thank all of you for your birthday wishes for me today!  I had a wonderful day today. I got presents from my family - gift cards for clothes - for a much smaller size! Dinner out was wonderful. I had the best bowl of soup and tonight there was a live band in the restaurant!  We went back to my daughter's for a no-sugar added frozen yogurt cake from TCBY.

All in all my birthday was much happier after my RNY!

Glad it was good for you.  Just think, the gift cards will buy more clothes because you won't be paying the big price for the big clothes.

As far as the cake goes, I would have gone for Carvel...  I used to miss it so much.  But we got several Carvel stores down here now.  And now I can't eat it.  Grrr.

Your family sounds wonderful and you will have so much fun shopping - buy things tight so that they will fit longer.
Seems funny to think of a bowl of soup being enough food.
I have never heard of a NS frozen yogurt cake - was it yummmy??? What flavour???

Can't wait but am worried too when I read of the horrible time some people have - just read one where she is five months out and still using a feeding tube.  yechhh...

The cake was vanilla and chocolate with sugar-free chocolate chips. It was really good!

I am so happy that you had a wonderful and happy birthday, Marcia. I wish you many many more of them each one happier and more wonderful than the last one.

Those gift cards come in handy with the new clothes. I know I love getting those.
