The cottage cheese pancakes are surprising easy....

1/3 cup cottage cheese
2.5 T dry oatmeal, that has been blended into a powder
1 egg
1 splenda package

Blend all ingredents together (I just a magic bullet).  Cook on a medium heat, make smaller pancakes so that the pancakes are easier to turn.

I have also made savory ones by adding 1T parm cheese and adding chives.  I topped these with 1 T applesauce.

Hello Miss Linda and My Wonderful OFF Family,

I had a great day yesterday.  My ASG group (American Sewing Guild) had the annual meeting yesterday.  I did very well with the food...  did sneak two cookies with coffee....  wish I hadn't.  Did not sit well with grouchy pouchy.

I had many many comments about how good I looked.  One of my sew sistahs came by my table and commented she didn't recognize me at first...    One close friend wants me to talk to her dau about my surgery;  but the dau is NOT interested in the surgery.  I said I would but it would have to start from a casual conversation as I would not blind side her into a lecture....

Today Mom goes to my sister's while I go to my guy's home for the first time.  I will also meet his dau.  I wasn't nervous but am beginning to be now......

Food will be a challenge...  the unknown...  B: cottage cheese w/fruit   L: chili  D: ????  S: ????

Have a Blessed Day....   Millie

Good Afternoon mellow Linda and OFFers!

Well, I had a change of plans yesterday.  My oldest grandson called wanting to know if he and his next younger brother could come spend the night.  Of couse I said YES!  lol  I had nothing in the house for them to eat so off to buy groceries we went.  I let them pick out snacks (which went home with them today) and juices.  The boys were really good.  They spent most of their free time on the computer playing games and asking for dill pickles, slim jims, and anything else they could think of to snack on.  I cooked 2 chicken tenders with peppers and onions and brussels sprouts for my dinner intending to have left overs.  The oldest grand came to the kitchen wanting to know what smelled so good.  Suffice it to say, I had no leftovers today except for about a cup of the b sprouts.  He even loved the brusses sprouts.  He amazes me sometimes.  His brother (very picky eater) wanted nothing to do with it.  When I got up this morning they had already eaten their toaster strudels and were back on the computer.  My DD picked them up about 2 hours ago.

After the boys left I cooked and ate my lunch.  Boy can I tell a difference now that I'm eating denser protein!!!!  It is amazing how quickly I fill up!  The moral of this story is that I now know my pouch is working.

B - 1 egg; 1 turkey sausage patty
L - 2 oz burger; 1/4 cup mashed potatoes; 3 small brussels sprouts
D - Cottage Cheese
S - Splenda peaches

Hugs! Donna L (finding_me) - I just know I'm here somewhere...
