IT'S SUNDAY - What's new?
Hi George and my OFF family:
I'm bringing up the rear today. I'm not moving very fast today. I'm very tired, don't know why. I slept well enough ... got to bed sometime after 1 after watching the Dodgers beat the Cubs ... YES! Boy, was that nice! Now I can watch all those Cub fans mope around for another year. Oh, I know, the White Sox could be eliminated today too. But I really didn't expect the Sox to go far, and the Rays are like a team of destiny. They really are a good team, not just a fluke. Yes, I'd love to see the Sox come back ... that would be awesome ... but if they don't, well, the Sox still have one more World Series championship than the Cubs do in the last 100 years. The Bears were winning at last check too ... so that was good. George, you must have loved it when the Jets got Brett Favre. I, too, hate the Cowboys (although Tony Romo sure is nice to look at ... I hate Terrell Owens).
Sorry about the fitness club ... I'll bet you get some freebies because of your complaint and that club gets fixed up. It always pays to complain.
I am planning to make some apple crumb bread today, a double batch, to take some to Frankenmuth with me this weekend. Then tomorrow I'll pick up sour cream and make sour cream apple muffins too. Maybe some zucchini too and bring some of those along too. Trying to bring stuff with so I don't have to spend so much. It was funny talking to my mom today ... she was miffed that I was going out of town ... but she thought I was flying. Then she remembered that Frankenmuth is in the same state, and then she was OK with the short weekend trip (she has been there too), because I explained I was sharing a room and expenses, etc., and some of the meals would be free. She just doesn't want me blowing of my money (which I don't have much of). Now she's OK with this, though, because it's not an airline trip (why she thought that, I don't know, but she's old and gets confused).
Well, off to the kitchen. Have a good day.

me again checking in for a few minutes- i'm getting ready to tear the computer apart to move it into the small (middle) bedroom--then a few of the hugamungous plants can come into the kitchen/dining area so that they don't freeze outside.....
all i have done in the way of cleaning was to move boxes from the lil room to the bigger back bedroom- good thing no company coming-no where to put them! after frankenmuth i am going to have to really start doing cleaning/packing the right way! tho i did get a bag of trash-papers and such and a 20# dog food bag full of magazines etc and a box for goodwill....i am trying...it is still somewhat overwhelming to me but not so bad as a few months ago !
it will feel very strange to have the computer in that bedroom- it has been out here where the activity is since we moved in and we both like that so when one is cooking or watching tv the other is still nearby! ah....well..... once i get it straightened up properly i am hoping it will please the realtor as well ! ( i know she is only trying to make the house more sell-able!!!!) ( tho i fear it is going to be a long winter here in this house!!!!)
well- see ya later, i hope or else in the morning...depends on how quickly michael drills a hole in the floor for the cable wire!!!!!!

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.
