Well, by the time I finish this it WILL be Saturday!  Hope all are well in OFF land!  Been a busy week for me again.  Mostly driving all over creation here and there, oh yeah work too!  LOL
Gonna take my pills now and as soon as my son gets here to claim his laudry I'll hit the hay.  Went to see his band play tonight for an hour or so, kind of a rock a billy type, jazz and blues with a bit of rock thrown in.  Usually they play someplace I don't really want to drive to, but tonight was in a nice area so I chanced it.  Not a problem at all.
Bathroom still coming along slowly, guess I am running out of steam finally.  Just sitting around doing other things sounds better right now!  LOL  It will get done however....someday....somtime...hopefully soon.  At least it functions right now.
See Now it's Saturday so Whats new?

hello Debbie and everyone else too!

Im here just going thru my emails...I had a busy day..my hypnosis session, then had to go back to Staples to return some very expensive drawing pens that actually SKIPPED.  I cant be using them so I returned the pens ..theyd cost me thirty dollars! and got new ones..the brand that Id wanted in the first place but couldnt find at the end of a very tiring day.  I also picked upa  few drafting templates that Ive needed now and then.

Then I sropped and had supper(I ordered a salad) with mother and showed her my mandala work..she just doesnt have any interest or understanding at all.  I dont know why I bothered but I guess I keep trying. She did give me her grocery list and an order for a lottery ticket that she had called me the day before and had to have IMMEDIATELY.  Of course Ive finally gotten to where I cans ay no..Im coming in tomorrow and THEN I will get that for you.  So she had to wait.  After we ate, I left and bought her groceries and ticket and returned backt o her place with everything (tho just now I realized that I'd forgotten the milk-sighs)

I got home and made dinner then broke up THREE huge pans of chcolate bark for tomorrow's (Saturdays) District Meeting for BPW..white choclate w/ dried cranberries and thin almond slices, milk choclate with Skor Bar bits(butter toffee) and white choclate with milk chocolate mint chips. After bagging the bark, I weighed each bagful and tied with pretty ribbons.  The chocolate will be sold at the Penny Sale tomorrow.

Im busy creating lots of mandalas to get my colouring books ready for sale.  And now to bed..its an early morning at 6 am *whimpers*

Good day everyone!   Well, it's the end of an exhausting week for me.  I fell in one of my classrooms 3 weeks ago from a height of only 2 steps, but I landed face-down, with my right elbow jammed into the floor.  I thought that I had broken my arm, stayed where I was, and an ambulance was called.  While at the hospital, I found that I hadn't broken any bones, but I did have a lot of soft tissue damage.  Since then, my arm does not function very well.  When I'm sleeping, my arm comes out of the shoulder socket, and with a pain that feels like a stabbing with a knife, wakes me up.  Of course, I haven't been able to sleep well since then as my arm seems to come out of the socket every night when I roll over in my sleep.  And my poor little girl, Creena, has added to my woes with her crying every night.

So...   my objective for the weekend is to sleep as much as I can and try to re-energize myself.  I wish that I could "bank" the sleep and use it during the week when I will need it badly.  Ah, the foibles of growing old!

However, tomorrow I will be up and getting some much-needed grocery shopping done and then I will vote in our advance poll for our local reps and ultimately for our Prime Minister.  (our federal elections and all of the hoopla run for just a few weeks).   I also have 80 sociology tests to mark, so that will take up Sunday.  Whew!!  I need a break.  Luckily, our Thanksgiving is coming up October 13, so I will get some down time.

I wish all of you a peaceful and re-energizing weekend, filled with love.
Margaret
PS my students were wonderful when I fell.  Some are very young, and I thought that they wouldn't be very mature about the incident; I was also concerned that they might be traumatized.  I was pleasantly surprised by their maturity and concern.  When I returned to the classroom after my accident, one of my students told me that I continued to teach when I was lying face down on the floor waiting for the ambulance, and he thought that was awesome!!!!   That made me laugh!  I love my students!  Have a great day.

Working some overtime.  Gonna cut it short so I can go home and get some sleep.

I looked over the pets thread.  Wow.  I decided to take a count.  Of the people that responded, there were 30 people with pets.  We had 34 dogs, 32 cats (not including the outside cats - did not have a definite number), 9 birds, and 5 horses.

Today Mary has a garage sale.  She is selling some Christmas wreaths and baskets, fall wreaths and baskets.  Some Home Interiors pictures.  See what she can get rid of.  She is trying to get rid of all her old craft stuff so she can concentrate on her love.... scrapbooking.

Working some more OT tonight.  Two 5 hour shifts, with a four hour break in between.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!

Saturday is going to be a very nice day for me. It is my 60th birthday and I had my RNY that I waited so long for...  My  husband is taking me out for dinner in one of our favorite restaurants. My daughter and son-in-law are going with us. I am planning on eating seafood bisque. There won't be any cake for me this year unless someone comes up with something sugar free.  For the first time in my life I don't care about a cake at all!  It is just so wonderful that my 60th year will be the start of a healthier me! I hope that everyone has a wonderful weekend!

Happy Birthday, Marcia....hope it is a wonderful day for you and the year to come will find you a healthier, slimmer
new person.

Watch eating too much of that seafood bisque....it's pretty
heavy and probably has heavy cream in it.....it might upset your new tummy......just a suggestion!
