Good Morning Marti and Everyone!!!
It is a cold morning in deed.......43 degrees right now with a high of 54...I am sooooo not ready for this!! I don't even have a winter coat....mine from last year is HUGE on me....praise God!!
Marti...my girlfriend and I just had a garage sale not long ago. They are fun....I love the variety of people you meet. I sold alot of plus size clothes!! Hope you enjoy your day too. Wish I could be there!!
George.....your grandson sounds awesome. He reminds me of my grandson Lucas. Lucas is a terrific golfer. He is out there helping people all the time. People actually have asked him for help. Others always want him on their foresomes.....Lucas is 10 years old. I am very proud of him as you are of Eddie.
Margo.....I hope you get the job.....if not....you are right....the perfect job is out there waiting for you. Love you sweetie!!
Annette....prayers and good thoughts are on the way.
Judy......congrats on the stars!! You are a hard worker and it is noticed by your supervisor. I think you are going to be managing that Deli soon!! Your apartment is really taking shape. I am looking forward to sending you emails again!!
I have a couple clients to meet with today and then I am done for the weekend.....wooohoooo!! This has been a long hard week.
Nothing much else happening with me. I haven't decided what I want to do this weekend. Going to tryu and keep it low key. I need the rest.
I spoke with all my grandchildren yesterday and everyone is doing well. They are all so busy with school and school activities....that is a good thing!! Little Gracie is just busy coloring and playing and that is good too!!
I best go and finish getting ready for my meetings. Special prayers to those in need. Love you all.

Boy do I know where you are coming from Marti! I am a hungry REALTOR right now also! It has been a long time between pay checks! If not for my DH's military retirement I would literally be hungry!! LOL. I think real estate is slow everywhere. Hopefully after the election it will be better. If not I may have to look for a 9-5 job! Trying to hang in there.
I had my 1st fill Tuesday and after hearing a few horror stories boy was I nervous. They came in with a LARGE needle (4 inches) I thought oH S**T!!!! Stuck that baby all the way in my belly and missed! Had to bring it up about 3 inches and try again, twice! Holy Moly I thougth man I didn't feel a thing until they hit a nerve then I said Ouch! It really was not painful just the little twinge when they hit the nerve. I was up tight for nothing. Got it on the 3rd try and put 1 cc in. Found out I already had 3 cc's. I feel a little bit of restriction now. Thank Goodness. Hope things start to move downward again.
Been having a time with a SIL that wa**** by BF this past weekend. Went and took out charges of Assault on a Female. Hate it. She was engaged to him for 6 years. I told her that her gut was teling her something was not right or the wedding would have been over and done with and she would not keep putting it off. Oh well better now that later.

I have to be quick and sneeky, My bosses boss is after her and we all know that **** runs down hill soIneed to keep out of her way and keep busy. Iam so glad it is Friday. Ithas been such a busy week. Last night My granddayghter and I worked at out church, theyare putting on a new roof, we picked up the old roof tiles from the ground and threw them in a truck , justher and Ifilled an intire truck !! two hours of bending, lifting and throwing, I was sure I wouldnt be able tomove today, but I feel fine, can't believe it!! American Legion ws last night and Ilet Chuck talk me into letting him pick us up, it is in a town 25 miles away, we were about 2 miles from there and his Explorore died dead,, Had to call someone to pick us up. He actually kept his temper through the entire thing. It is the best thing I ever did breaking up with him, he is really working on him self, talking with people who can help him and working on his debts and future. Yes I know he is doing it to try to get me back and NO it won't work, but if we can still be friends who do things together now and then that would be good.And if he improves his life thatwould be a silver lining for him. I am expecting a quiet day tomorrow, time to get caught up in the house. Have a great weekend all..Blessings

I had problems sleeping last night ... I actually was very sleepy about 1:30 and took my nighttime meds, was getting ready to go to bed when Scooter decided he needed some lap time. So I watched a little more TV; by the time Scooter decided he'd had enough, it was 2:30, so I went to bed. Tried to sleep, but then I wasn't sleepy and couldn't wind down. So I got up and read for an hour ... problem with reading is the book is good and it's hard to put it down. It was after 4 a.m. by the time I nodded off finally. Got up at 10:30 after sleeping fairly well but not really enough. Don't know why I couldn't sleep ... really wasn't in pain or anything.
It's really sunny today after a dreary week. Don't know if it's cool though. I have been using my little electric fireplace to warm the house at nights ... it helps a lot. Saves on the heating bill.
I know what you mean about the economy, Marti. I think it hit me way before a lot of other people. If I hadn't declared bankruptcy, I would have lost my condo. It has been really hard, but I muddle through. And it gets harder everytime prices go up. At least I still have a job. I know others who don't. I'm still struggling, and this week is tight. I'm still not sure how I'm going to afford Frankenmuth. I was counting on more out of the check for being in the movie ... I guess I shouldn't have. I have a lot of expenses next week (expensive prescriptions, etc.) I don't know how I'm going to make ends meet. There's not enough money at the end of the week.
Well, I should get off the computer and do something. Have a good day. Hope all goes well for Annette in surgery.

Got on the scale after my series of last meals (feeding frenzy) and looks like I've gained five. Did good about losing at first but it's taken so long for the surgery and the time has come to get serious about this pre op diet again.
Looking forward to some blues music and dance therapy this evening if it doesn't get rained out. This weekend I'll need to repair that place in the corner between two fences where the dog has figured out that he can squeeze through. Don't want him wandering around on his own while I'm in the hospital.
I've been gifted some horse manure and I need to turn the compost pile and mix some dry leaves with the manure. That'll wait until Sunday when the weatherman says the sprinkles are done. That's about all from my neck of the woods so great weekend y'all.

1. I had my first real bowel movement since surgery on Monday (my daughter says I need to keep some things to myself, but boy do I feel better!!)
2. I started pureed foods today and have had no problems with the new things I have tried so far.
3. I weighed this morning and have lost 9 pounds since Monday!
4. I have felt a little weak today, but just doing more resting and reminding myself that my body has been through a lot.
It has been a good day!
