It's hard to believe!

I don't.  As a band patient, I am trying to get my protien from foods, as I know I will be leaving those shakes behind very soon.

I can not remember being hungry since my surgery last December.  I eat because I know I am supposed to.  Now I am at the eat every 3 hours or so to maintain my weight.  I have stayed steady (within 5 lbs of my low point) for almost 3 months now.  I eat every 3 hours.  I have 4 meals a day, the other times I snack.  On anything I want.  I do not dump, so I can literally eat anything I want.  I prefer pretzels and cheese as my two snacks of choice.

That is great!  It is good to know someone at goal who is maintaining.  I know my Bariatric surgeon said the goal was to get me on 3 meals a day.  So we will see what happens as time goes on.  I'm not even there yet!

Well, today, since yogurt and sf ff pudding went ok, I am moving on to pureed diet.  I actually have had a bowel movement!  Been taking stool softeners for 2 days and was going to call the Dr today if I didn't get some action but it seems to be working out.

One of my members (I am a Pastor) has a daughter (who had a brain aneurism lasts winter) whose husband got killed in a car wreck last night.  Another of my members called me and told me.  I am on sick leave, and feel very guilty!!!!! I have a pastor on call, but I know the family.  I left a message on the mother's answering machine but don't have the young couple's phone number.

Please pray for them.  The young lady's name is Sarah and she had 3 children under 7.
