THAT IS SO PRETTY, LIKE STAINED GLASS! DO YOU MAKE IT ON CANVAS? DO YOU USE WATER COLOR OR ACRYLIC PAINT? I HAVE NEVER DONE ONE BEFORE. DID YOU USE A "SPIRAL" TOOL. WOW, I WOULD LOVE TO LEARN.

yes, stained glass church windows, especially the OLD ones, are often based on the ancient mandala. If you look up on the internet, about the Rose Window, you will see that it too, is based on a mandala *s*

oh yes! Mandalas are an ancient meditative device designed to create focus and to relax..drawing one to the centre.

Thank you, Helen. I do enjoy creating the patterns and choosing the colours. I am presenting a Mandala Art Therapy Workshop for my sorority sisters in two weeks...this should be interesting *s*
