Eileen,

So glad to hear "your" White Sox won.  I heard it on the radio this morning and immediately thought of you.

Been so busy at work lately, I haven't had a chance to even "lurk".  Hope everyone is doing well.

Update on my back....tonight is my sixth chiropractor appointment and it seems to be working.  I'm still in pain but not nearly to the extent it was.  Sure looks promising.  Thanks for everyone support on this issue.

Looking forward to seeing you in Frankenmuth.

Floyd:

Glad to hear the chiro is working for you. My brother did that for a long time and it work for him, until one day the adjustment must have aggravated something and he had to do the pain shots anyway. Just something to keep in mind. His hand went numb on him (his pain was in his neck and shoulders.)

Can't wait to see you and Brenda again in Frankenmuth.

Hi Eileen and everyone!

Glad to hear you scream with delight last night, Elieen.  Hooray for your beloved White Sox.  I haven't followed much baseball since my son played in school years ago.  I'm excited you finally got your chair fixed, too!  That's great because I'll bet it's easier for your knee to be able to recline.

It's been very busy for me lately.  I have time this morning to post because I'm going to the WL doctor this morning before work.  Keeping fingers crossed the lab results are positive.  Whatever it is, it is.

My daughter called last night with wonderful news that her husband got the job he was hoping for.  His previous place of business just up and closed one day without any more notice than a letter in the mail that very same day.  They weren't really prepared for that so to get a job in two weeks time in this economy is truly a blessing.  They will have to move three hours from where they now live and with a 14-year old son - that's traumatic.  They will also have to sell their home and my daughter will have to find a new job in a very small town.   Needless to say, I'm worried and praying it all works out for the positive!

Annette - I know your surgery will be fine and fix you where you need fixed.  I love the "screen door" analogy!  Wish we could all hold your hand through this but you're gonna be fine.

Floyd - It's so good to hear that the chiropractor treatment is working.

Susan - Congrats to the new job in your family, too!  I've been following the story on your new business venture and hope it's everything it can be.

Take care and have a great Wednesday.  Not sure what other stories I missed comment on but I try to read and catch up when I can.

Hugs,

Kathi

Kathi:

Glad your son-in-law got the job he was hoping for. A lot of places are closing without warning. That's part of the credit market crisis. Selling a home isn't easy in this economy and moving with a teen ... well, I know about that (I remember hearing my friend Margie talk about it). Hope the transition goes well.

It is always fun searching for everything once you move in. Even when I had movers, I could never find everything. There were times it was a long time before things showed up. It's like a treasure hunt.

Good morning Eileen and everyone........

Another busy workday today....not much time to post.

Annette and Margo....I love you both and am keeping you in my prayers that your surgeries go well.

Susan and Kathi...congrats to both of your sons on their new positions!!

Judy....Home Sweet Home....there isn't anything like it!!

I am doing well considering everything happening in my life right now. I am experiencing some depression and am having a hard time trying to stay focus. Hope that gets better soon!

It feels so good to be back here on OFF once again...my life doesn't feel quite the same when I am away from all of you!!

I need to get to a couple other posts and then on to my job again.

Prayers, love, and hugs to all.......connie d
