Found out Red's memorial service is Wednesday morning in Abilene.  That is about 3 hours away.  We are going to go.  In order to do that I have to take off at least 4 hours on Tuesday.  I said the heck with it, I will take the entire night off my full time job and take Wednesday off my part time job.  We will be back in time for me to work the full time job Wednesday.  So tonight I will work the part time job, then go home and get my exercise clothes and go to the gym.  Then go home and get some sleep before taking the drive Wednesday morning.

Watched the CBS comedies tonight.  Worst Week needs to be retitled to Worst Show.  That show really sux (pardon my French).

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!

Good morning George and all,

I believe the French spelling is "souques"  (sorry - that was bad)

After almost two years there are still warm and fuzzy WOW moments. At the support meeting we ran out of chairs so I plopped on a side table. One person commented that I was sitting "Indian Style". Yup - the position comes naturally now. Two years ago I wouldn't have dared sit on the table for fear of it collapsing under my weight. Crossing my legs at the ankles was an effort. What a difference 23 months (and 207 pounds off) makes. Life is good after WLS.

Kisses

Hi Annette,

Just wanted to pop in and say I'll be thinking of you in the next few days. Hope this is the magic fix for you dear one and you will be able to stay away from the surgery room from now on!
Take care,

Annette:

That is indeed a WOW moment. I don't think I'd ever sit on a table still, but I have sat on the floor and gotten up without help (well, not since I've had the knee replacement ... now I need help again). Good for you!

Good morning, George and my other OFF family. I hope that today proves to be wonderful to all of you.

I agree with you guys about the show "Worst Week". I think it is dumb and they think we are dumb if they think we like it. I know that it is going to be going. I can usually tell when I watch them one time. I am sure that everyone else can too. It isn't hard to figure it out, that is for darn sure. I don't care for the first 2 of them on Monday nights, so I start with the Two and A Half Men and go from there. I watch the first part of Dancing With The Stars. I am missing most of it this season and I love that show. Oh the trials of deciding what to watch on television. Life is tough!

I am going into the church office this morning to help Jeri with the newsletter (to get it together and ready to mail), and then she is going to start on some of the forms for charge conference and I am going to answer the phone for her and see about getting the computer in Pastor's office ready for the new one to come in. Britt used his laptop and so that computer hasn't been used for a long time and it needs to be checked. So I guess I am the person who is going to do it. Like I know what the heck I am doing on that one! Yeah right! That is a laugh for sure. Silly silly people for sure on that one. :-)

Bill was asked by me last night if we could please go out for dinner tonight and he agreed so I am such a happy little camper. I know that by the time I get the things done today I am not going to want to fix dinner.

I have to go and get my oil changed~Bill is having a fit since the oil light comes on on occasion. See it doesn't bother me because I told him that the light comes on sometimes and then others it doesn't. He had a fit about it when he drove my car this past Sunday. I thought I mentioned it to him but I guess I didn't. I just smile. He asked me yesterday if I did it and I had forgot so I had to promise him I would get it done this afternoon. One of the car lots is having a special for this month of an oil change for $9.99 so I have to get in today for sure. Since the end of September is fast approaching!

I can't believe that it is going to be the first of October already. I am wondering where this year went. I remember my mom and grandma always saying that time goes by so fast when I was a kid. I always thought that they were nuts since I was a kid and time just went by so nice. It never flew by then. I know now just what they were talking about and I am a lot older than mom was then. I am probably just a bit younger than what grandma was then. Wow! I am having a hard time comprehending that one. I never thought that I would be as old as grandma was. Just goes to show you how wrong we can be if we a lucky!

I guess I had better get to moving. I am wanting to take my shower and get ready to move my fanny moving. I am going to read the paper for a bit before I hop in the shower tho. I have been so busy lately that I am not reading the paper as much as I use to and I don't like that. I like to read about what is going on in my own back yard. I am missing a lot of things.

I am sending love and big hugs to everyone. I am keeping you all in my prayers and special ones are going up for those in need of them. Have a wonderful day and remember to keep a smile on your face and one in your heart too.

that tells what kind of life you have lived.
