I hate the gym.  And I did not use it for a while.  Now I am paying for the membership, so I am trying my best to use it.  It is hard though while working 75 hours or more a week.  I prefer the recumbent bike.  My gym has a bank of 8 TVs in front of the recumbment bikes.  Pick the one with the station you want and plug your headphones in.  I try to do 30 minutes there.  Then I go to the treadmill and do 1 to 1.5 miles.  Then to the pool where I walk for 15 minutes in the pool (I can't swim).  Then to the hot tub for 15 minutes and 15 minutes in the sauna.  Then shower and gone.  It comes to about 1.5 hours when I do it.  I will be going Tuesday evening since I am not working.  I am even thinking of going Tuesday morning when I get home.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!

Wow!  For someone who hates the gym, you sure put in a good workout! I used to spend about 2-2.5 hrs every morning there.  I don't work, except per diem, and I had a workout partner for all of last yr.  She and I would start with 10-15 minutes on the eliptical for warm up then the nautilus machines for an hour, then back to the treadmill for 45-60 minutes.  But she dropped me like a hot potato back in the early spring.  That was about the time I found out I needed to document my exercise for my insurance co to get my surgery.  So I got my trainer.  I love the free weights and used to do them yrs ago, so he and I concentrated on those, and I changed my workouts to do the same cardio workout (eliptical and treadmill) and then about 30 minutes alone on weights, or an hour with my trainer.  It's nice when someone sets you up and records everything for you.  But now I have this danged rotator injury, so my weight training is on hold until I get past this recovery, and into that recovery.  Not happy about it....I hate to see all those muscles I have built go down the tube, but I don't heal like I used to.
