Hi OFFers!  Hope your day has gone well.  I'm still tire very easily but am getting my strength back more and more every day....Now if those dang scales would just MOVE!  This means WAR!!!  I am still doing my 2-mile walk away the pounds walk every morning.  In the evenings I'm alternating between wall pushups and upper body strengthing with resistance bands for 15 min.  I'm getting in my protein first as usual but am trying to make better choices for my other 3 meals.

B 4 oz Protein Shake
S 1/4 cup granny smith applesauce
L 4 oz Protein Shake
S 1/4 cup granny smith applesauce plus 1/4 cup cottage cheese
D 4 oz Protein Shake
S 1/4 cup cottage cheese

and water water water

Linda,
I took heed to you advice and have gone back to mixing my protein shakes with skim milk plus adding 1/3 cup powered milk to get in my extra protein.  Thanks for the knock on the noggin!  lol

I think it finally sunk in that exercising may be what is throwing my body into 'I ain't letting go of any calories 'cause I'm being starved' mode.  I really wish I had taken my measurements prior to surgery but oh well.  All I can do is go forward from here!
Hugs! Donna L (finding_me) - I just know I'm here somewhere...

Hello Linda and happy afternoon......

I am finally home once again. Most of the fires have been put out. I can't get into it right now....I get too emotional. All is looking brighter for my daughter and grandchildren. Praise God for that!!

My meals have been okay....made sure I got in what I needed....drank mostly Boost because I had no appetite to eat. Took my calcium, vitamins etc. religiously everyday.

Glad to be back and looking forward to getting back in my routine.

B-yogurt with kashi and string cheese
L-tuna, cottage cheese, and cherry tomatoes
S-banana
D-meatloaf and green beans with onion and bacon
S-apple w/ peanut butter

I have missed you sweetie.....love you much.....connie d

Hello Boo! I am happy to have you back. Sounds like you are in survivor mode...you are doing what you need to do.
I will pray for you and your family, and remember, this too shall pass.
I adore you, you are there for your family, that is all any of us can do.
It is hard to accept that we are powerless at times.
If there is anything I can do, please let me know.
A HUGE SOFT MUSHY HUG!!
